Bo is not only our prop man, but our boat guru. We had never owned a motorboat until 2003. Bought a used 16' Carolina Skiff, one by one, broke everything possible to break on that boat while we learned "the hard way". Bo guided us thru everything, fixing prop issues himself, advising us on who to go to for the other fixes, and even how to do some of it ourselves. I went by to ask some questions about timing and availability and took several pictures and video of my props. I was told it would be about 2 weeks before they could fit me in and that the props were not in bad shape so total would be $250, worst case scenario. Two week go by and no call, so I called them. I was told to bring the props by and they would get them done in a few days. Next day I get a call that the props are ready. I go to pick them up and the charge is $425. Brought boat down so he could check my prop out and tell me if my prop was the issue. Not once did he look at the prop he just pointed out other stuff that had no effect on why my boat is porpoising. He pointed out I had a small crack on top right of transom. Side to side not vertical and my transom has no play. And said my motor is to lose shaking it side to side(steering was not locked) Stated the trim tabs will cause it to porpois worse....... 🤦 never...
