Bought a used 16' Carolina Skiff, one by one, broke everything possible to break on that boat while we learned "the hard way". I was told it would be about 2 weeks before they could fit me in and that the props were not in bad shape so total would be $250, worst case scenario. Two week go by and no call, so I called them. I was told to bring the props by and they would get them done in a few days. Next day I get a call that the props are ready. I go to pick them up and the charge is $425. Not once did he look at the prop he just pointed out other stuff that had no effect on why my boat is porpoising. He pointed out I had a small crack on top right of transom. Side to side not vertical and my transom has no play.
