As a teacher, I used to stop in occasionally to check out the kids book section for my class, but I stopped going here a couple months ago when the price for used paperback children's books went up to $2. If I can go to 2nd Impressions or Refuge Thrift and get them for 50 cents, Salvation Army for $1, or even Goodwill for $1.29 with a 20% teacher discount, why would I ever pay double or quadruple here? I DONT feel like I'm going to leave the building with bedbugs unlike other places in town. It was very organized and had consistent signage regarding pricing.
