I’m so impressed and appreciative for everything associated with appraising and selling a sports card collection to Ron at Don’s Sports Cards. In the busy holiday season, he indicated on a cold call that he could appraise a collection at an hourly rate on Mondays when the store is closed. I soon after stopped in to meet Ron to show him a few cards and figure out the next step. During the visit, in a couple of minutes, he gave me an open explanation of how he appraises card values by looking up recent auction results on-line and suggested it was something I may want to do myself to save money on his appraisal. He also told me the most valuable grading companies to look up first. Based on that I decided to save the appraisal costs and do it myself. We agreed on a fair percentage of the recent average sale prices that he would pay for a collection. After sharing my list of findings, we met and he shared his vetting of my results and we came to an agreement without any difficulty. The entire process was open, transparent and smooth as silk! I walked in with my son today whom is 7 years old with a bunch of cards to show them today he had two Pokemon cards that were highly collectible the red card from black and white as well as the reshiram full art as well as a couple sports cards one being a second-year Kobe Bryant signature Beckett certified 10 for the signature in 9.5 for the card itself. We walked in a gentleman being a customer handed my son a bunch of cards which was very kind the owner in the new manager spoke not one word to us and stared at my son while he had his cards out at the front desk with only one other person in the store and they couldn't even come over to say hey buddy how are you and what kind of cards did you bring in. I wanted to leave immediately but my son wanted two packs of cards so I bought them for him the only words I got out of him was do you want your receipt. Absolutely appalled how they treated a 7-year-old that spends hundreds of dollars every couple weeks at Maniacs at the Mall, and I will pass this on to other kids that he's...

It's Paul's now. Me and my fiancé had been going there lately just to get some advice from him once in a while we get a card off him. A lot of people and places tried to say he's dishonest and a rip off and that's not true. What ppl say and the man I met are two different ppl. Could have been when it was Don but Paul runs the show now and he's very honest, loyal and has the best advice. Has never tried to get one over on us and we're new to this.
