EZ FREEZY — Local services in Portland

The place is just okay. Coming from Washington, I wanted to give the boba here a try but was ultimately let down.

First and foremost, the interior design was great and suited it’s fun, modernistic atomsphere that I believed it was going for. I have no complaints, everything was clean and lovely, a star for that.

The boba, on the otherhand, was underwhelming as the tea clearly has been sitting for quite some time. You could hardly taste the tea and it felt more like Thai milk rather than the Thai milk tea I asked for. Tapioca was fine, no star given.

The yogurt was fine. I got the cheesecake and the strawberry and would only recommend the latter. The cheesecake felt a bit artifical and felt more like a plain vanilla than a cheesecake. The toppings were, however, quite diverse and opened a lot of options including wafers to cookies. Although the quality of these toppings as questionable, I found it to be tolerable and found the yogurt in combination with the toppings to be solid, star for that.

Overall, I give this place a three out of five stars. It’s fine for what it’s trying to do but is nothing stellar. I would come here again if I was craving boba or yogurt rather for the quality and something extraordinaire as it’s very vanilla. Would...

Very well made ice cream. Employees are very nice and cooperative. Their service is very fast and great. Paid under $5 for a full cup of ice cream and some fruits on top. One thing I would add or improve is adding a method of touch less pay. For exams, google or apple pay. I had google pay and did not have a card with me so I wasn't able to pay. Luckily my friend was with me so be paid for me. I know that it may cost more to do it, but you can open the door wider for more potential customers. If I was the owner, I would take that into consideration. Especially with this whole pandemic, people may be leaning more towards touch-less pay. But overall, a great place. It's clean and follow the COVID-19 regulations. I ate this cup and it made me full. Very worth. I don't know any other ice cream shops in town besides this one; or none that can compare...

The frozen yogurt flavors were delicious, so tasty in fact that I had to go back for seconds. There's a bar with tons of toppings to add to your froyo. I also experimented with a couple boba drinks, one was blended banana with strawberry boba "poppers", and the other an iced lavender with regular boba. Banana might've been the better choice but I'm no boba expert. As far as prices go, expect to pay approximately $5 for each item ordered.
