Completed ghosted us.

We were looking to replace the floors in our new home, after calling around town and reading reviews and landed on Simple Floors. We went into the shop and selected a floor. The staff was very helpful and felt confident they would be able to do this job for us. They came out to measure and take a look at the home. Again, very helpful and nice (though about 20min late to our appointment).

They said they would write up the estimate and send it over the next day. A day goes by, nothing. We wait until Monday, nothing. We call and they are "helping another customer" and ask for us to leave a message. The next day nothing. We send an email. We call again. No answer.

I've never felt like I had to work so hard to give a business money. Especially in this economy. Not sure why Simple Floors decided to just completely ghost us on this 800 sq ft job — with no contact or explanation.

Waste of time and energy. Beware. I would recommend anyone else.

EDIT: In response to the "owner" below — no, I don't understand how not one of the numerous emails and phone calls have gone unanswered for over a week and a half. Your team was very responsive in the beginning, and then just completely stops all communication? Completely unprofessional.

David was a pleasure to work with. Initially I spoke with him via email and trying to decide what kind of lvt flooring to purchase. He was extremely helpful and sent me pricing and suggestions. Someone came out to measure and I finally went into the store to make my final flooring choice. David spent a patient hour and a half with me going over various options. I had something in my head that I was interested in but just couldn't pinpoint it. He showed me floor after floor after floor and gave his honest opinion based on my interest. I appreciate that versus someone telling me it depends on what I like. He explained things thoroughly answered my million questions. He set up installation quickly he managed the whole process. The installation team was great. When extra prep was required and plywood was needed, David called around to get the best pricing. They finish the floors in 2 days I had my living room hallway and bathroom carpet replaced with lvt. The price of the flooring and installation was very fair. I have a year warranty and if there is anything that comes up during that time all I need to do is call the company and they'll send set installers right out. If you are looking for high quality products and customer service, this is the place to go. We started with Simple Floors and John was absolutely phenomenal about helping us find what we want without any pushiness. We took MANY samples on the first day and he gave us so much thoughtful tidbits and advice. We also went to two other places (one of them very well known to contractors) and while they also had a decent selection, we were barely acknowledged, there was no follow-up on our quotes or questions. Ultimately, we found the board we wanted at one of the competitors and John told us he could order it. They also came in at lower price than the other place. David was also spectacular in quickly helping whenever John was out. We also needed quarter round which we knew nothing about and was able to add that on. We had tried to order extra boards but turns out we still ran out due to having wrong measurements. These guys quickly sprang into action to help us locate more boards so we wouldn't be delayed mid -install. They're incredibly responsive by email as well.
