When Marcia took us on a tour of their available product we actually got to walk through the area where you see orders being precision cut with sophisticated machinery. Marcia also gave us a better understanding of our choices which made it so easy to pick. Also, the big clincher for anyone who wants it done fast is that from the day they measured my kitchen it was installed a week later. Most everyone else said 3 to 5 weeks. We visited "granite alley" in Portsmouth and discovered that Absolute Stone Design doesn't just offer a showroom but they are also talented fabricators. The Fantasy Brown hybrid stone caught our eye. The leathered finish allowed the colors to pop without washing them out with reflections from a polished finish.

Nirson showed us the factory and went out of his way to answer our questions. He sent us home with a sample. He promised a quick turnaround (10 days) if we ordered. We did order and gave them a 50% deposit. They came to our house to create the template. We were changing the configuration (modifying the breakfast bar) and Nirson advised us on how to prep for the best result.

The installation happened as promised and the results were fantastic. The seams are invisible and the corners are square. The overhang is supported by steel they provided. Our kitchen looks brand new. The two man crew was professional and courteous. We recommend Absolute Stone Design...

We started looking for countertops at Absolute Stone because our builder had a relationship with them. Nevertheless we also spent a lot of time looking at suppliers all over the Tidewater area. We returned to Absolute because they were most willing to search for the stone we wanted and allowed us to reserve our selections for over four months, giving us a calming assurance in the middle of the disruption of a remodel. The templating and layout process was superb, with Nirson Perpetuo clearly guiding us through it all. When installation day came, the crew was professional, precise and efficient, staying late to finish both our kitchen and bathroom in one day. The result is simply stunning, reflecting the entire planning process, cutting detail, detailed installation and impeccable stone pattern matching.
