Flowers Bakery Outlet — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I needed a coconut cake for a very special friend for his birthday and I would have had to place an order for that 2 weeks before I went there, the owner said that the best she could do was coconut cupcakes and I said ok,thankyou, she made them fresh on Saturday morning and they were ready at 11am Saturday. This is where I will return in the future for cakes and cupcakes, they were so delicious & my friend was very excited to be able to get the cupcakes he also said that they were the best he ever had!!. While I was there I ordered a 12 oz. Everything was great, the prices for the bread items I purchased, and the variety. I atmosphere reminded of being a little girl shopping with my mommy in the late 1980s when Murray's Steak House was in Suffolk Virginia on Portsmouth Blvd. I miss my mom, but Flowers Bakery Outlet gave me a Happy memory. I gotta thank this place for remaining open. It's a true treasure. They keep an assortment of super affordable fresh breads, pastries, and goodness. They also carry the grain bread with the nuts on it similar to what they serve at First Watch. Yum! You gotta try it out if you hadn't.. It's not big, it's not a huge assortment, but it's plentiful.
