Brookshire's — Local services in Pottsboro

The grocery section of the store is wonderful stocked clean roomy. However the pharmacist lady is Kurt smug and degrading to customers in need especially if question timelines. I drove 1.5 hours from the medical city Mckinney Tx surgery center with a pain rx that we really needed filled arriving at 12:15cdt only to be told it wouldn’t be ready until after 2:30 as there are several ahead. I responded he just got out of surgery and is sched to take one in 30 min as anesthesia is wearing off. Only to be told there several ahead of you it’ll be after 2:30. I asked can he just get one the take it out of the RX? No ma’am narcotic will be after 2:30. So drove the 7.5 miles home got him in house in bed gave him Morin and a baby aspirin

If y’all are that busy you need to hire Another pharmacist and even two to replace the NONpeople person you have

I have been coming here for two years choosing to use Brookshires over Albertsons, or the other grocery stores convenient and available to me .including Walmart. Always getting my lunch from the deli. I don’t know what’s going on but today the individual who served was like scrooge , as if it was his food , Every time for the past two years, the ladies are always generous, and of course, charging me accordingly compared to today ! Giving me the smallest pieces of chicken, the amount of macaroni and cheese, and the bare amount of potato wedges, I understand about cost. I also know with the bulk amount of food that is cooked and served at grocery stores. It cost the store pennies on the dollar to produce this food, including wages, electricity, and everything. I’ve actually run two restaurants in two historic hotels. Not that it’ll make a whistle Dixie darn but I think I’m gonna be spending my money up the street at Walmart, Albertson’s and the other grocery stores...

I love Brookshire's. I love their deals and gas points. I worked there and made a lot of life friends. The reason for the constant turnover of employees is due to the pay being so low. If you want good employees to last pay them what they're worth. I would love to go back if I could make what I make now. I loved my job and did a great job doing what I did. I do hear a lot of complaints about new employees every time ppl turn around. They have a great selection of brands. They still offer baggers and people to help you out with your groceries. The cashiers smile even through the customers who treat them badly. The meat market has great meat especially on sale. The bakery has amazing cakes and the deli has the best fried chicken. Produce always looks beautiful. Be kind to the employees. If it wasn't for them you'd never find the parmesan cheese because it's not where you think it would be :) If you don't like self checkout....they still...
