United States Postal Service — Local services in Pottsboro

Over all my regular carrier is great, but I have told her whoever sub's for her when she is off keeps putting packages in my mailbox that are too big. We are in a public box with a key and it has parcel boxes for packages and have even had them put a bigger package in there while cramming a smaller one in the mailbox. I have had things damaged while trying to get them out. If it barley fits through there side with the big door, its not coming out mine, there is an extra lip on my side so its even smaller of an opening. I get there is a full day of mail to deliver but people deserve to have there stuff delivered in one piece and...

What in the world has happened to the post office in Pottsboro Tx???? Mail we used to get on Tuesday was delivered on Friday. Grandson mailed his graduation cards out 2 weeks ago. Grandson in Denison got his last Friday. We here in Pottsboro have no clue where ours has gone off too. Do we have to start owning a PO Box in Denison to get our mail now??? Seems like all the normal folks are gone. Saw 2 tween age boys driving about 50 Mph in a mail delivery vehicle on Mill Creek Meadow but didn’t see them delivering anything to anyone. If I could give our mail carrier ZERO stars, I would. We have 4 mailboxes for the 4 residents in this cluster. The boxes are clearly marked with each address, yet we're constantly getting mail that doesn't belong to us, our neighbors get our mail. We have no idea if we're not getting bills because they're not being sent or because they're in the wrong box. It seems our mailman just looks at the number and doesn't care which box he puts it in....
