Simply stunning!
Updated to accommodate a mobile queue experience, and plenty of pandemic appropriate safety measures (appreciated the mask requirements for other guests and the hand sanitizing provided before entry).
Like I said: stunning!! It's beautiful inside. I'm that loser that screams and then laughs at surprise (and anticipated) scares! I always like to go through with a scaredy-cat friend and a "stoic-i'm-never-scared-of-anything" friend. If my hard-to-scare friend isn't spooked, they usually have a good time laughing at me screaming and giggling. My scaredy-cat friends usually don't freeze up with me, and I'm able to loosen them up to enjoy more where they might spend the whole time with their eyes squeezed shut.
We went through once at regular ticket price, then decided to upgrade to make our tickets season passes (same price as going through twice). I promise you, the cost is WORTH IT. It's GORGEOUS. There's lots i missed the first go!
(My scaredy-cat friend this year was my 11-year-old niece! She recently fell in love with Five Nights at Freddy's and this was right up her alley!!)
Can't wait to come back!! (Go early and avoid the longer wait times, if it's still not busy, you have the luxury of...
Read moreThere were some awesome effects, jump scares, and almost too real "horror movie stereo - type " acting. The reason I only gave 3 stars was due to the fact a person from our party was ejected by police almost immediately after we entered building for grabbing another person IN OUR PARTY on the thigh (this was an attempt to honor the theme of scaring someone in a haunted house...a friend of 30 years, at that, who wouldn't have minded one second if their thigh was grabbed) An employee of Frightworks then proceeded to follow our party as if babysitting us. We are in our 30s and 40s. We started to think it was part of the act and that our friend was carted away, only to jump out of a coffin and scare us later. But the truth is more grim. He was hanging out in the parking lot waiting on us. And the other deduction was because he wasn't refunded the $23 he spent for his ticket. My advice: If you wanna go, fine, you will have fun for 30 min (as long as you don't try your hand at scaring a dear friend while in complete darkness) who could resist??)) and probably talk about it on the way home. Ok, good luck to you. Keep all hands and feet inside vehicle while...
Read moreExperience wasn’t to bad it’s like a 2.5/3 for me the parking was easy to get in and out the line was pretty long so I got the fast pass for me and my girlfriend that was $82 little high but what isn’t now days so the fast pass had no one in front of us really except 1 group a dad and his son. It wasn’t much scares outside usually they scare people in the line wasn’t happening much that I saw. So it was time to enter when entering the intro girl to the house was awesome and the 2nd part was also cool but after officially entering the house we noticed real quick there was groups backed up it was so bad that we seen stuff way before it even happened I don’t know due to maybe rushing people through but we got there at 7:46 and entered at 8:03 and that’s early so I wouldn’t believe it would be rush time that early. The house was 3/5 for me even with seeing what’s going on before it gets to us the full experience equaled out to 2 stars for me the price and then the rush and being backed up seeing everything in the house wasn’t a fully amazing experience but was decent enough...
