I just spoke with a person at the pharmacy who was rude and extremely unprofessional. The person didn't give me his name but I can promise you he wouldn't work for me long. I asked about a refill for my 83 year old Dad who attempted to get his refill today. I called the RX in last week and they said they would contact the DR for a refill. Walgreen's didn't call him and tell him he had to make a DR appt before he could get his refill and they didn't tell him that when he went there today. He assumed he just couldn't get the pills anymore and called me. When I called the pharmacy the man on the phone acted as though I was an inconvenience and reluctantly looked up the info for my Dad on the computer at which time he said he wouldn't be able to refill it until he was seen by the DR. I asked him why he didn't tell my father that today and he said it was up to the DR to call and tell us that. I told him he surely was aware that's not how it works and he said "ya I know". No offer of apology was made or any attempt to provide good customer service. This is the second time I have had poor customer service from this store and it will be the last. This young man best remember he too will grow old and rely on others to help him. I am furious at his rude behavior and plan on escalating this further up the chain with Walgreen headquarters. No customer should be spoken to in this manner. Walgreen's had better realize good customer service is imperative in repeat business. I was patiently waiting for help in the printing department when she came over and asked if we needed help, and when we said we did she rolled her eyes and told us we needed to do it ourselves at the kiosk. When I told her I didn't know how (it was involving art I'd never made copies of before) she rolled her eyes again, grunted at us and took the picture out of my hands very carelessly and said she'd just do it herself which wasn't even done properly (apparently she didn't know how to either). Read moreI have been a pharmacy customer at this Walgreens’s location for a few years. Heidi the lead pharmacist is absolutely amazing. She knows my name as soon as she sees me. She really cares and is always willing to go the extra mile whenever needed. Today she really went out of her way to assist me with a really expensive medication I couldn’t afford. She ended up saving me a bundle. She’s also just the nicest person. My mom and dad go here too and they love her as well. I also like her staff.
I was a CVS customer for a lot longer and no one ever remembered me and they were usually rude. Asking a question was just not ok. The stark contrast is unbelievable.
