I bought a fabulous Maytag (MDB8959SKW) dishwasher here. The workers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and honest about the dishwashers that they carry. They have Whirlpool, Maytag and Bosch.

One of the best parts about coming here was being able to visually inspect each dishwasher they had and compare one to the other.

I actually wasn't even considering a Maytag until I got there. Maytag got bought out by Whirlpool, and I don't like Whirlpool dishwashers. The lady there said that she hasn't noticed Maytag's production quality suffering from the buyout. Apparently Maytag is still using the same production methods and are still a unique brand. The Maytag I chose was even better than the high-end Bosch 800 series in my opinion. The Maytag's racks slid in and out very smoothly and that third top rack is a major game changer. And it can fit in more dishes than the Bosch third rack up top because of it's V-shape. I can wash many more dishes now.

One good thing about U & I is that they will not put out an item on display and then say they don't have it in stock, and make you wait weeks or months for it to come in. Other places will do that. Everything that U & I has on display is in stock and buyable.

I had also heard that they would price match. I tried to do that with my Maytag dishwasher but they said that they cannot price match appliances. I guess they will try to price match furniture though.

While I was there I checked out their refrigerators and washing machines. Items that they have chosen to sell seem top notch, solid quality. But not over the top extravagant.

I am so excited to have discovered this store in Preston! My washing machine stopped working and I had researched all week and considered a lot of different machines. My husband's co-worker suggested a speed queen from U&I. On the phone Trudy was able to quickly explain washing machines and her expertise cleared up a lot of questions I had which made purchasing a breeze. I have a 10 year warranty which is incredible! She also answered a lot of questions about mattresses while I was in the store as well as furniture needs. They delivered my speed queen a couple hours later. They were so polite and were able to take my old washing machine for me. Since it's super snowy outside I am really grateful for that extra service. They have my business and if you're wondering whether or not to purchase furniture or an appliance from them just do it! I promise you will be well...

We live in Southern Davis County and have been looking for a couch fo a number of months. Gone to all the Salt Lake furniture stores including RCW. Nothing (not to mention feeling like a commission and not a customer). Several family members who live in Cache Valley have had a great experience at U&I Preston so we opted to come to Cache Valley and check out all the furniture stores. Opted to start in Preston and never had to go anywhere else. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Wonderful selection every bit as much selection as the bigger stores with prices equal to or better. Plus I get free shipping to South Davis County. Found exactly what we wanted and the owners made us feel like a friend and not a commission. Definitely recommend this place. GO HERE FIRST!...
