Dearest Gentle Reader, A warm welcome from your local milkshake reviewers. We are honored and privileged and pleased to offer our in depth review of the Raspberry Milkshake from Preston's very own Big J's.
Overall Taste: 9/10 Creaminess: 9.5/10 Texture: 7.5/10 Smell: 8/10 Presentation: 5/10 Value: 9/10 Quality: 9/10 Final slurp: 3/10 (not very slurpable) How it makes us feel: 8.2/10
Atmosphere: 9/10 (We went around the fourth of July and they were so festive with lots of decor! Also the restaurant was super clean, which we appreciate!) Service: 9/10 (really really great service, got our food fast, and the staff was friendly and even brought us mints!)
Some notes on the shake: While we are normally partial to chocolate shakes, we had to try the raspberry shake here as it is apparently famous. It did not disappoint. The serving size was large and very affordable, and the shake was super creamy and delicious. The berries were so refreshing and yummy.
The shake is on the thicker side and would have been quite difficult to drink through a straw, but we aren't complaining.
Based on the joy that the raspberry shake brought us, we would love to come back to try one of their chocolate flavors soon!
Final verdict: is it worth coming to Big J's for a...

I was driving through town on my way to Murdock Hyundai, and I saw this burger business out of the corner of my eye, so I stopped and turned around to go back. I parked down the street to read the reviews first. It appears that the reviews were telling the truth.
I was helped by Nannette and her very nice trainee. Both of the friendly, courteous, and great smiles. Big J has a great menu to choose from, and I made things easy on myself by getting a burger.
I thought I’d be able to eat this burger on the go. I was wrong, I had to stop in a parking lot miles away to eat the burger. I should have just eaten it at the restaurant, but I knew if I was in this place any longer than necessary, then my fat ole self would have ordered a shake or some kind of treat. No, I had to get out of there. Haha.
The place was neat and clean. I thanked them for having a spotless restroom, and I’m assuming good customers respect a clean restroom and also help to keep it that way.
Overall? I’ll be back if I come through these...
Read moreMy job is to watch and report behaviors between children and their parents while the children are in foster care. I was supervising a visitation while the parents brought the children to Big Jay's. This place is the most family friendly resteraunt I think I have ever been to. The waitress was on top if everything. She walked around cleaning and checking on everybody as she passed out treats of suckers and mints. Because the place is not a franchise, the toys that come in the kids meals are actual toys; not licencesd garbage for collectors or advertisements for Disney. When there was a spill, I went to get some more napkins. The same waitress came out with a mop and actual washcloth then cleaned up. We were not look left with a sticky semi mess. If you want a quiet low key place do not go here. If you want a family friendly place where real normal children can eat and enjoy their meal. This...
