I went to look at laying hens. The guys "helping" me showed me the small wire area where the birds are stuffed in like sardines, but he didnt know ANYTHING about the birds. He couldnt tell me how old they were, what kind, if they were for meat or eggs. All the laying hens have been debeaked, meaning somone sliced their beaks off so deeply they will never regrow. Its ugly. So I guess go here for abused, deformed chickens that are absolutely terrified of people.
