Showplace Cinemas Princeton 8 — Local services in Princeton

I sat in theater 2 last night on 2/10/2023, it was the first show of the day at 6:30 for Titanic 3D and the entire theatre had not been cleaned from the previous day, arm rests were down in every nearly every aisle, trash was littered on the floor and endless amounts of popcorn was scattered all over the steps, seeing Titanic in 3D was great but after the 3+ hour movie I went to relieve myself to find every urinal filled with trash, two of the three toilets overflowed and the last toilet had feces/urine everywhere, when I went to report it there was nobody to be found, no one at the concessions or front desk, literally not one employee in sight on a Friday night.

The state of this theater is still the same, I also spend more time/gas/money having to go to Showplace Cinemas in Evansville because Princeton does not open until nighttime during the weekdays, yet I can go to the 2+ Showplaces in Evansville and see movies from 9am to Midnight, the only way Princeton opens up during the weekdays is if schools are on break or it's summertime, which completely screws every hard working adult in Gibson county that wants to...

Just got back from the family film festival event they had!! PHENOMENAL crew. Even though there were a bunch of people at the concessions stand, we hardly had to wait. The manager was even back there helping! You don’t see that very often these days. The restrooms were very clean and the theater was not too bad. The was some popcorn but there was already like 50 kids in there so I understand. I came back out to order another drink and there wasn’t as many customers so an employee was already sweeping the floor! Not waiting around. This is not a terrible theater, but it is one of the more expensive ones in the area. Movies are $5 on Tuesdays, which is great, but expect to pay around $10 per ticket at any other time.

It’s not the cleanest, but the majority of the seats are comfortable. They are vinyl seats, and some are severely cracked.
