Mystic Lake Center — Local services in Prior Lake

Fun place, but they call it "Mistake Lake'' for a reason. Reasonable prices for drinks, food etc, but don't plan on walking out with more than you came in with... at least for most people. Used the coat check and didn't have any issues, but while I was picking up my jacket, there were some very unhappy ladies who didn't get their coats back. Didn't find out how it was dealt with, but glad I didn't wear my expensive jacket. Wait time was ridiculous for their 'fast food' options. Over a half hour wait for some Asian food that wasn't good. The burger was the better choice. 15 minutes and less expensive as well as tasted decent. We were there on valentine's day night and would've been nice if they were open later. Even if it were just for that night. They need better signs or more employees to help direct people to different areas because everyone working is working and too busy to stop and answer questions. Bingo wasn't an option even though that's what we wanted to do. Nobody was at the desk, directions were limited and for people new to bingo especially at Mystic there really should be better or more staff available. Especially, on a holiday when they know they'll extra busy. Valet parking took us 20 minutes to get parked as well. Not the norm for Mystic. Having our reception at Mystic Lake Event Center was hands down, our best decision of our wedding day! As a couple new to event planning and unsure of where to start, the Mystic Lake Staff made the process of putting our dream wedding together so simple, flawless and FUN! Lindsay and Brooke were wonderful to work with and we felt like they were our biggest fans the whole time, always so energetic and excited about our big day! During the whole planning period, they made it seem like our day was THE most important event, and everything that came up was handled professionally and quickly. Lindsay and Brooke had wonderful communication, and made sure we felt confident going into our day! Everything from the large details, to the teeny tiny small details, were handled with care, and we knew we were in great hands the whole time! There was a team of people that we were introduced to before the wedding day, which was nice to know all the helping hands going into the event! To us, our day was perfect, and we have heard so many of our guests RAVE about what a perfect venue it was! I normally have great time here and normally feel like things are fair but they were turning down service to customers and putting them in a very long long unless you were vip they were rude when she urity talked to you and sent you to the line I did not even make it in after fourth five min in line and left I hope next time things are different I understand the issue of to many people in there I guess I just wish I was treated more fairly or kindly and maybe notify me through the app that if I was not a platinum member I was not getting in. Normally I enjoy here very much great slots fair tables and great rooms but haven't been much in last year because of pandemic hopefully I can make it out there more shortly but yes over corwding new years day was rough and I also want to compliment bus service great men and women driving the buses.
