If this restaurant was not in the middle of a major casino it would be out of business in months.
There seams to be a man who appears to be a Manager that's clueless to run a restaurant. Obviously no training of the staff and the worse part, the cooks. There was no sense of urgency to get seated by what looked like an untrained staff member. 10 people in line and open tables throughout the restaurant and when she finally sat someone and came back to her greeting counter she nervously started stacking menus in a neat even row without addressing the line of people waiting. Zero personality. Deer in the headlights.
I could go on and on but I'll now mention the food. The first morning we ordered the Tex Mex skillet and I ordered an omelette hash browns and toast. I took one bite of the hash browns and rejected the rest. Cut likely from a baking sheet pulled from a cooler it was in a exact rectangular shape. It was garbage. Cold inside and no crispy edges you would expect from a real grilled order of hash browns. The wheat toast I couldn't eat either. It was floppy, not toasted, like bread out of a bag and if it was buttered I couldn't tell. The omelette was egg and bits of ham green pepper infused in the poured onto the frying pan fried egg, not cooked separate, and then it was rolled up like a burrito from taco bell. Maybe the cooks previous job. So, the only thing I could salvage from that meal was my egg roll-up and the side of orange juice.
The Tex Mex skillet was great. It was prepared as it was described on the menu with the sauces and came with cilantro on top and a side of salsa. Not over cooked and absolutely delicious.
It was so good we ordered 2 as a to go order the morning we checked out. Obviously not the same cook and zero staff training on consistency, we got home and it was not even close to what we got the day before. The entire meal was dry and over cooked. It had big chunks of overcooked potatoes and very little of anything else. I did find one slice of green pepper 1 inch long and some onion. It did not have the Tex Mex sauces it stated on the menu. I asked that the eggs be over easy and they were overcooked with crusty edges. No cilantro and no salsa. The first day the waiter wondered if it came with toast and decided no. The second day the to go person said it came with toast.
Like I said, no training, no consistency and a terrible manager that must be someone's cousin or uncle to keep the job. Shut it down or fix it. We view Mystic Casino as a top notch excellent well run machine. Hire an independent someone to critique all your operations and implement changes that would impress first time and long time...
Read moreIf your unable to make a food purchase online in 2024 then the ToGo/Bartender should be readily available to take an order. The front host should notify the ToGo person when there's a customer or there should be a doorbell on the ToGo counter to alert staff of a waiting customer.
Not to mention with customers sitting at the bar, the Bartender should be there readily available to upsell them more drinks.
And if Mystic is so cheap to charge $1 for a tiny side of ranch, $1 for a ramakin of Blue Cheese and $1 for enough Buffalo sauce to cover my dry a$$ buffalo wings, then the container SHOULD AT LEAST BE FULL.
The last time previous to this visit the cook served me runny scrambled eggs. After waiting over 20 minutes I couldn't believe the cook couldn't manage to actually cook two eggs scrambled. My wings again weren't saucy at all, but dry.
This restaurant is becoming just as disappointing as Fusion Asian and the dog food they serve daily. I'm not sure whos in charge but the food quality including the Pho, Chicken Sesame, Mandolin Beef and any order of rice are now less than subpar with a high price tag.
Yesterday the management couldn't even seem to place an accurate order of Pho without tripe. The food and quality is such a disappointment. It's ridiculous that the sub and pizza bar aren't open later but the Asian place that consistently gets orders sent back is open late. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND...

3 friends ate her today. 2 of us were excited to see eggs benedict on the menu. The 3rd person had never had eggs benedict and based on our description we all ordered it. 2 of us ordered milk and the other water. Our food was served and it was barely warm or in some cases cold. The muffin appeared to be toasted on the top only and soft on the bottom. The sausage tasted premade. The eggs should be over easy with a runny yoke and instead some we're almost hard boiled. And the sauce didn't really have flavor. It came with hashbrowns that tasted like they were cooked in old grease and I couldn't eat them.
The server came and asked about our food. All of us commented on the issues indicated. She asked if there was anything she could do. We explained we were on time constraints and couldn't wait for a redo. We wanted the kitchen to know so that others didn't experience the same scenario. The manager, I believe came out to talk to us. She also asked if we wanted something to go and we all declined. I should've asked her what she wanted our experience and takeaway to be. I regret not saying that.
She then brought our bill and took off the 2 milks. That actually felt like a slap in the face. We would've felt better if they hadn't done anything at that point. None of us will be going back...
