So, Mama Barone’s Pizza, at this spot isn’t a dine-in place, it's more like one of those spots you might pass by if you weren’t looking. But man, don’t sleep on it. I swung by kind of on a whim and ended up standing in the parking lot just grinning at how good everything was.

I grabbed a sausage slice and it blew past any expectations. First off, it’s hefty, like, fold-it-in-half New York-style, but still with some bite to the crust. Not floppy, not crunchy, just right. The sausage wasn’t that little pellet stuff either; it was actual chunks with a little spice and crisp edges, like it had been cooked with intention. The sauce had some tang, not too sweet, and they didn’t drown the slice in cheese, it was balanced, but still cheesy enough to pull apart when you bite in.

Then came the jerk wings. And listen, I wasn’t even thinking about wings when I got there, but I saw them on the menu and went for it. Totally worth it. The seasoning was bold, slightly smoky, and the heat crept up in a good way. Juicy inside, nice char on the outside. Definitely not your average side dish.

Stopped by for their Wednesday 14" two-topping special, and I'm glad I came in early! I had the pleasure of meeting one of the new owners, Lizzie, and she was incredibly welcoming and easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customer experience—her energy and focus on service really stood out.

As for the pizza? Absolutely delicious, just like always. Perfectly cooked, great flavor, and a great deal for midweek. I truly wish Lizzie and the team all the success—they’re clearly putting their heart into this place, and it shows....

Pizza was alright but the service was excellent. Friendly staff that greet you warmly from the moment you walk in & make pleasant small talk while you wait for your food. The crust was nice & crispy but there was something about my pepperoni slice that tasted a bit off for me- had a bit of a gritty texture? Maybe I just got a bad slice. Would be willing to try it out again especially since it’s a local business. You also can’t beat a...
