Would give 10 stars if I could, love these guys for online orders.

I make wooden rings on a lathe as a hobby, and as a result order from these folks a lot, especially the half size rings as my local Woodcraft only carries like size 8, 9, etc so if I need an 8.5 I go through these folks. Every time they get delivered they have little candies in the package as tokens of appreciation!

Also, ordered a tail chuck from them, the Boring head chuck for getting ring sizes accurate down to the millimeter, and it has some absolutely tiny ball bearings. My idiot self lost some, and I called these folks to see if I really needed it. The man on the phone said he couldn’t imagine they would add things they don’t need, and sent me a defective (for other reasons) head to take the parts out of, just pay shipping (fair enough)! Really shows outstanding customer service and an understanding of what makes for successful business! I will be a lifelong...

I have just finished a great week enjoying a wood turning class. First, the instruction was excellent. Scott Cherry and Kirk DeHeer did a fantastic job with really great classroom and hands on training. An excellent team. Second, everything in that shop was absolutely first class. No work arounds, the right tool for every action and specific training to properly use that tool. Third, a new project every day. Each project reinforces the newly acquired skills. I love this store and they have great options and supplies they fall very short with their hours though. Online it says they are open 7-5 but they don't open until 8:30 so they are only open during a normal work day for people. I mean come on do you even realize the amount of business you miss out on by having such stupid hours. And there's nothing more frustrating than leaving for work early so you can stop by before work just to find out your hours online...
