I went there to watch Doctor Sleep with some friends. We bought our tickets and went inside as we were buying our popcorn the girl that sold us our tickets told us they were putting the sound back on in the theater and it should be back on by the end of the previews. As we were looking forward to seeing the movie we waited. Then the sound came back on but it was doing the voice thing that tells you exactly what the characters were doing. A voice thing that tells a blind person what is going on, but watching a scary movie with a robotic voice announcing every movement kinds of ruins the movie. She told us we could see another movie (they all had already started) or comeback at four if the sound was working. They would not give us a refund. They did not apologize. As we were leaving to go watch another movie that had began one of the workers told us they were suppose to close the theater room that was playing the movie. We also over heard that the manger wouldn't come down to fix it because she lived to far away. I would also like to add the temperature in the movie was even colder than any other movie I have been in. My hands and nose were freezing by the time we left. If they knew the movies sound was broken they should NOT have sold us...
Read moreIf I could give a -5, I would do so. My husband and I recently tried to see a movie at these theaters. My husband purchased the tickets. No one mentioned to him that the theater the movie was playing in was upstairs. We got to the theater, it was pitch black. There was a large incline in the hall approaching the stairs. It was unmarked and unlighted. There was no handrail. You could not see that there was only one wall. I almost fell and reached out to try and hold onto the wall. That is when I discovered there was no wall there. The stairs were only lighted with some red rope lights. It certainly was not enough to navigate some steep stairs. I could not tell whether or not there was a handrail on the only wall that was there. My husband and I are both senior citizens and have impaired mobility. Neither of us felt confident enough to attempt to navigate the stairs. We left the theater. My husband spoke to the manager on duty about a refund. She was quite rude and refused to give one. My husband persisted, and she finally acquiesced when my husband told her he would not leave until she she refunded our money. He told her the the theater was too dark to navigate and was unsafe. We will never again go to...
Read moreWe don't go out to the movies often due to the shear cost of it anymore.. We have had 3 bad experiences in a row at the theatre in Pryor... First one was we went to watch Black Panther when it came out, and get there just to be told that they cancelled the showing we wanted because they rented out that entire room to a group for a different movie.
Then we went back to watch Avengers: Infinity War and the staff was rude and disorganized. They made a mess my husbands nachos and they ended up spilling and before I could go back to clean it up, the manager came down and made a big scene about 1 chip left on the floor.
Then yesterday afternoon we took the kids to see Incredibles 2 and it was supposed to be in 3D but it wasn't.... And the movie was supposed to start at 130 PM and instead it started at almost 2PM. At about 145 they came and shut the doors and turned off the lights and we sat in the dark for almost 15 minutes while they went and got the movie ready.
And then there is this kid (or adult) that discovered their chair would squeak really loudly when they rocked in it... So they continued to do this for the entire movie.
Never once an apology on the delay or anything. A bunch of kids running this theatre with NO adults in...
