Beware of the AMP app. As of right now, AMP doesn't register correctly when you extend the timer. For example, I had 15mins left in parking at the CUE and paid to extend it by 1h. It updated the timer to 56 mins when it should have been 1h15m. This happened to me a lot and it seems like a very sleezy way for them to get more money. I called and, while they were kind, they could not resolve it or reimburse me.
Apart from that their customer service has been relatively easy to work with and has voided a few tickets for me that were handed out in error and in a situation when my car's battery died and I couldn't move it till it got jumped.
As a final note, I do think the tickets are handed out too quickly without any grace period whatsoever. Also, unlike most parking tickets downtown Pullman or Moscow, WSU parking tickets are stupid expensive. $75+ for being a few minutes late to the car is just ruthless. Parking Services will always have a bad reputation because they deliver tickets, but I think these are some things that they need to change for the sake of...

I've heard people who work here saying that they are going look for specific cars to give a ticket if it's still there. One worker even told me a method that they have for targeting cars and ticketing people. Not to mention that they have a 10 day policy for appealing the ticket then they say that there is nothing they can do about it. Which is odd because there have been scenarios where they dismissed tickets after 10 days.. like okay. To make matters even better they essentially run off of the money they make giving out the tickets. In most instances I was given a ticket when I had flat out paid for parking. If you are going to have a parking service.. you probably shouldn't have college students being the ones giving out the tickets. As far as customer service goes, the lady with grey hair at the front desk is pretty nice, everyone else was just disrespectful and didn't seem like they even wanted to...
Read moreAs a student from UI who has been working at WSU since I was a sophomore in high school, they treat WSU staff, students, and faculty. Their parking passes are an arm and a leg in costs. They say that UI blue parking passes cover for a WSU blue pass, but I have been ticketed twice for "not having a valid parking pass". The best one yet was that I dislocated my knee and needed a handicap parking pass as I was on crutches. I got one from my local DOL, but WSU won't accept it because I don't have a WSU specific annual parking pass, because apparently my UI parking pass doesn't actually equate to anything at WSU. The parking transportation services are milking all the money they can get from students and staff by making it almost near to impossible to get an affordable parking pass. They are the work kind of department to deal with and I have nothing kind to say about them. If it was an option to give a zero star, I would. 1 Star is being generous for the quality of...
