Kool Nails Design & Spa — Local services in Pullman

I had been in this salon a year ago when a wedding party I was a part of, went in for manicures. It was an "OK" experience when we did that, I had so much more to do that day, and so did the bride. So, when my daughter was selected by Wishing Star Foundation in Spokane to be granted a wish, she decided she wished to go to Hawaii. Well, if you are going to Hawaii, you must get your feet done professionally. We selected Kool Nails because of the very good reviews...but I had been there before and it was not more than OK. BUT it was my daughter's treat so we went. A completely different experience than last time. The staff was incredible. It was super busy, but the staff was attentive to us. They got us sat down and enjoying our feet being treated to the pre-bath. They saw that my daughter who is on kidney dialysis had swollen legs from excess fluid and during the lower leg massage was so good to help massage and be careful not to hurt her. The toenails polishing was superb. When they heard that Sarah was a Wishing Star Kid, they did things extra special and they gifted the pedicures. We leave Wednesday for Hawaii. We have awesome looking feet and toes. We will come again and tip well. I feel like Kool Nails is a part of Sarah's Wish. Thank you Kool Nails...

Disappointing Pedicure Experience

My recent visit to this establishment left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. While I initially had high hopes, the service fell far below my expectations.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and promptly seated for my gel manicure and pedicure appointment. However, from the start, it was clear that this experience would be different from any other pedicure I've had before.

The technician seemed unfamiliar with standard pedicure procedures, neglecting to properly prepare the water or provide the expected level of care. The lack of proper exfoliation and massage left me feeling uncomfortable and questioning the quality of service.

Furthermore, the technician's excessive use of tools during the nail care process felt rushed and overdone. The final touch of wiping my legs with a smelly towel was the last straw. I decided against the manicure.

Ultimately, I left feeling unsatisfied and unable to justify the hefty price tag attached to the subpar service. It's unfortunate that my experience was so disappointing, as I had hoped to leave a positive review.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience, and I will not be returning...

Loved this place! They all were so kind and gentle with our feet. On New Year’s Eve they even stayed open for people who came in at 5, after someone said are you sure it’s ok to come in this late, he said “don’t even worry about it, we will take care of you”. They make sure everyone is happy and taken care of completely. I got the Diamond spa crystal pedicure and couldn’t be happier, he took his time with my feet and made sure everything was clipped, grated, smoothed and softened. Their young daughter entertained us and helped put soap in our baths, she was so cute! My mom and dad had a deluxe pedicure and my dad said he couldn’t believe he waited 70 years before having one, he’s definitely hooked. They all made sure we were comfortable and relaxed and took such good care of us. The place was clean and spacious, they have 11 manicure tables for regular mani’s and gels. They have 8 massage chairs for pedicures too. It’s a cash only place but they have an ATM so don’t worry about not having any walking in. We all felt taken care of, we definitely will...
