Rosauers — Local services in Pullman

The liquor prices here are amazing compared to Walmart and Safeway. This may honestly be my new place to shop for any of our alcohol needs.

The store is always clean, the employees are always nice. The first day I watched the store director go out and retrieve shopping carts. Usually how a store director acts and treats his employees will be how the store will succeed (or lack thereof) and this is usually a good sign that the store and its employees will thrive.

EDIT: this is specifically for the Deli. And it’s only for the employee that decided to lie to me. I worked in a deli for many many years. I know the difference between fresh Jo-Jo’s and old Jo-Jo’s. For reference, the lady working the deli told me they were 5-10 minutes old. I bought them and put them on this plate 5-10 minutes after this statement. These are not 20 minute old Jo-Jo. These are 50-70 minute old Jo-Jo’s. Technically they can still be sold, but my problem comes from the deli clerk lying to me. Even when I asked her if she was sure. Train your staff to not lie. First not a fan of the star system of grading. It has to be something spectacular, amazing or unbelievable to get a 5* from me. Done nq the reviews.

It has a huge and impressive selection of beer, including NA, and wine. It also has the liquor.

It appears to run some good and a few amazing specials at times. Overall price aren’t the lowest.

Fruits and vegetables are above average.

Deli has the regular deli options but also has pizza and a taco bar. It also has wings and soup bars.

The few items I hav purchased from the Bakery have been fresh and I have enjoyed the taste. I understand items are currently being baked in the Moscow Rosauers’ and brought to Pullman.

Meat department has an excellent selection of meat varieties at a reasonable price.

Staff has been generally friendly and helpful. They have only been open for 6-8 weeks so, staff is still learning as em’I.

Personal note, I shop price and deals. This mean I shop The Dollar Store, Walmart, Safeway, Grocery Outlet...

Place is a joke. Nothing but problems every single time we come in. We tried to give it plenty of chances and it just never gets better. None of the staff knows anything about anything at any time. They will try and rip you off and manually charge more than the advertised price if you’re not careful. They’ll randomly accept or not accept certain payment types. Got to the point the only thing they were good for was the water refill machine. That’s not even true anymore. You can only be so forgiving before it’s just your own fault for continuing to come back. I’ve heard from multiple people and see it on FB groups that they also regularly discriminate against WIC users. Plus their relentless onslaught of the most idiotic and annoying ad I’ve ever seen every 2 mins of any social media video, please for the love of god don’t support this business.
