1/13/2021: Wish I could give them 0 stars. Very unprofessional people and they do not take any accountability for their irresponsible behavior. I got a test done at this center on December 30th, 2020 and today is January 13th, 2021, so it has been two weeks since then and there is no trace of my test results. Just no trace of it at all. They can't find me in their system on the date of service though I also signed up on the iPad at the entrance. And, on top of that, their customer service is just pathetic and the representatives are very rude and not helpful at all. I called them a bunch of times and they are asking me to tell my Doctor's office to give them a call. When I called my Doctor's office, they said they can't call because the test was not performed at their office which makes sense. I called the customer service again today and they said I'd get a call from the manager of this location within 24 hours. I am going to wait for another 24 hours and if I don't get a resolution by then, I'll take legal actions against this company and center because my treatment is getting delayed because of their irresponsible behavior.
UPDATE 1/15/2021: So no resolution has been provided by Quest Diagnostics despite my repeated complaints. I never received a call from the supervisor of the location, and when I called the customer care, they hung up on me without providing any resolution. This matter has gone way beyond I expected. My treatment is getting delayed because of their irresponsible behavior. They are causing me great deal of mental harassment. Now is the time to take legal actions against this company and this location at Crown Colony, Quincy.
ANOTHER UPDATE 1/19/2021: No action has been taken from Quest Diagnostics side till now and their level of unprofessionalism is just unprecedented. I signed up at the iPad at the entrance, One of their staff called out my name (they wouldn't call out your name unless you sign up at the entrance), she took all my insurance details and then my lab specimen was taken after an hour because I drank water before going to the test and I had to wait out for an hour. I checked in around 12:17 PM ET, and my first lab specimen was taken at 1:10 PM and the next one at 1:25 PM after 15 minutes because there should be a gap of 15 minutes between two specimens. So I did all that and their customer service reps tell me that they can't find me on that date. This is just unbelievable stuff from them. If there is camera in the facility or in the building, I challenge them to look at the camera footage. They are actually telling me indirectly that I wasn't there. The truth is that they messed up and now they are trying to cover their tracks. I will not let them do that and I want my results or some type of resolution from them. I got a response on this review to email the patient advocacy team with the details and I emailed them and haven't heard back from them yet. They don't have any morals or ethics unfortunately which is very disappointing. They should be held accountable...
Read moreI need to have frequent and routine bloodwork just about every other month, sometimes more often. Every time I’ve gone to the 500 Congress St location, I am met with the most incredibly personable and friendly bunch of gals!
There is one gal in particular that is so beautiful on the inside as well as the outside and we often share bits of conversation about “girly” things as she’s preparing the labels for my blood samples. (I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name at the time of writing this review)
This particular woman understands my fear of getting blood drawn and she ALWAYS comes up with a creative way to draw the blood before I even know she’s begun! Now, that takes a great bit of skill, especially when it comes to someone like me who has a genuine fear. Not only is she so skilled at distracting me as she’s drawing my blood, but she’s also so quick at it, that I don’t even know the needle has entered my veins. Also, perhaps due to her genuine caring for the patient as well as how talented she is at drawing blood, she never leaves bruises or marks of any kind on my arm!
Really and truly, by the time I’ve finished asking her if she could use the baby butterfly needle to assist me with my fear, she’s already retracting the needle because she’s finished!
They’re located in the rear of 500 Congress and when you go in the back doors, they are the 2nd door on the left. Check-In is an absolute SNAP with the automated kiosk touchscreen. A few simple questions and the check in process is complete. Perhaps I’ve just lucked out every time I’ve gone there, but I have never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes to be called. I am never there for more than 20 to 25 minutes when I go. However, I tend to go in the later afternoon, but I never seem to go at the exact same time. All in all, this particular location of QUEST runs like a WELL OILED MACHINE and it is definitely my “go-to” place when I need to have my blood drawn. Incidentally, as well, it’s always nice to see the same familiar smiling faces each time I go. I’ll continue to use this location and will definitely recommend them to friends and others needing bloodwork or drug screen testing.
Lastly, they have great business hours, with Saturday included from 8 to 1pm, in the event you can’t make it there during the week! I hope my honest and thorough review helps you in choosing where to get your lab needs met.
Sincerely...
Read moreAbsolute terrible incompetent service. I paid for $130 bloodwork with them, they clearly instructed me to come within hours without an appointment. I paid a 25 dollar uber to get there within the timeframe and a 25 dollar uber back. I’ve done this before in the past with them and it’s always been smooth.
Ichadeejah and Palette were extremely rude, condescending, clearly had no idea what was going on and essentially told me to get lost without an appointment. They both raised their voices at me when I explained my situation.
Ironically enough Ichadeejah gave me a card that clearly states “Walk-Ins are welcome.”
I strongly feel that neither should not be working there with their level of unprofessionalism especially when it comes to something as sensitive as bloodwork and the medical field. I wouldn’t trust either of them with putting needles into my body with that level of carelessness.
Now I get to go back on Monday and spend more money on this simple 5 minute blood test just to get medication thats already been delayed. Thanks a lot Quest.
I’ll be reporting this to both Quest corporate and my provider. Specifically with the 2 names I mentioned. Paying patients should not be treated in such an unprofessional way.
And looking at the reviews Im clearly not the only one with this experience. Staff here clearly has a pattern of being rude and incompetent...
