Kincaide Park — Attraction in Quincy

Nice new park. Good spot to be active and do a little workout. Good for a stroll. I definitively expected more from a park that the Quincy spent ~5 million on. There really isnt much of a playground for kids, but you can cross the street to the community school to play. Splash pad had like 6 sprinkles that shoot up water intermittently and a misting area. There's a track where you can run about 100 meters straight. 2 full courts for bball and the turf soccer field. Good for sporting events, but no bleachers or much for sitting. The spray park/water park is kind of a joke and it's easier to make a better one in your backyard. I have only seen one lesser spray park in Quincy area Especially if you consider what Quincy spent on that bridge that no one can use near Quincy center. I personally think there should be a restroom close by or at least a changing area. The area could be better enclosed and protected. More trees or shading would also help. And benches with shade and closer to the splash pad would be adequate.
