Everything I needed to transplant & replant my 4'5 Palm Tree 2'6 Rubber Tree transplant my overgrown Bromeliad never mind breaking up my over grown Pothos that !out of 1 original good sized hanging Pothos that now a beast & will easily make 3 nice new hanging plants & the potted small Pothos that's now the size of 2 medium potted Standing beauties! All for under $57. I got appx 80lbs of potting soil 50 of organic the other 30is the regular 3 month feeder soil to mix in ! The organic soil has Kelp & all the fun stuff my Palm tree needs that normally I'd have to hunt down the soil additives for but not at Quincys Home Depot! They have EVERYTHING & if by straight chance they don't they'll tell you where in Quincy to go that does! Now THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Recently went into this store for paint. Chose Glidden glistening gray for kitchen cabinets. Color was not gray, but lilac when applied. Brought back to store they agreed wasnt the right color. Something was wrong with the machine that mixed the color. They gave me another can but same thing with color. Still lilac. Gave up, went back in and asked for a darker gray, the woman who normally does the paint was out sick. Had another person helping customers who didn't know what she was doing. Mixed behr paint with a glidden color. Paid for that. As you can see in the pictures not cool. This store doesn't know crap about paint. Wasted money and time. Run far from here

Every HD is so concerned & focused about customer relationships that they've forgotten how to RETURN TO VENDOR to get credit & actually try to sell a product that's OLD & cheap in price.... $16/bag for the smaller bag..... Found yesterday April 10, 2025; three different sized grass seeds with TEST YEARS OF 2023 / 2024 and they clearly showed must be sold by those years.... One saving grace for this location? Management is actually finding solutions which should bring this review to 5 STARS.... They actually placed the top soil bags & peat moss under an actual roof. This way we the consumers are not purchasing water logged PRODUCT from the weather.

I bought a grill online and arranged with the store to assemble it (which is free) and deliver it to my house assembled (which is $20, and well worth it for me). I arranged with them on the phone to deliver it on Wednesday after 6pm, which they were more than happy to schedule. So Tuesday morning rolls around (the day before the scheduled delivery) and at 10am the store called me and told me they're ready to deliver the grill. I said ...no, no one's home. We schedule a time and a day for a reason. They didn't specifically deny making the plan for Wednesday after 6, but instead told me that they don't deliver past 5pm, and they never, ever schedule deliveries. ... Great. So they finally agreed to deliver the grill without anyone home and leave it on the deck in back, which is helpful but I scheduled the time I would be there for a reason.

I got home and intended on using the grill for the first time that same day, only to see the grill for the first time and realize that while the grill itself was awesome, and I had made an excellent purchase, THEY GAVE ME A FLOOR MODEL. The grill was completely scratched up, and broken in at least three places that I saw, including the side burner cover, which didn't close, the gas line to the side burner, which was cut and didn't work, and the lock on one of the wheels was stuck shut. Needless to say, I was not happy.

I purchased a brand new grill for $500, and they gave me a floor model, complete with security tag and all. That takes some nerve. They gave me what was essentially a used grill. It had never been used to grill, but it had been manhandled and broken. That is not a new grill.

So I called the store and got transferred a dozen times and sat on hold for half an hour, and eventually went down to the store. I let them know I wasn't happy, and the first person I spoke to (who was not some random sales associate, but someone who said he'd be able to help me) told me it's their policy to ship grills that are already assembled if they have them. ...Yeah, I was aware of that policy, thanks. I got transferred (in person!) a few times, and I was finally able to speak to a really nice kid working behind the customer service desk who helped me get this all sorted out, found a grill that was already assembled but in perfect condition, and arranged a delivery and swap for the next day. He also was able to have the delivery guys do the swap while no one was home, so that was great.

I was finally able to deal with someone helpful, but it took hours and a great deal of frustration. This store sold me a new grill but "store policy" was to deliver a used grill, if there was one, without even pretending to inspect it for damage. No,...

I was born in Quincy and this is where I usually shop out of the two stores in Quincy. Today was a very unprofessional day with humiliation.

While waiting in line in one of the two cashier areas - the other cashier called out who was next, I proceeded to walk over when she suddenly stops me and stated out loud in front of other customers I am NOT the next but pointed to the gentleman behind the one in back of the person who was being rung up at my line. I did not want to be confrontational but did you notice I was the next one in line? (NO you did not because you were busy assisting your customer) but because the line was NOT formed properly she ASSUMED I was NOT the next? ( I noticed that you were helping the other customer with some form of correction on his receipt " I was waiting in line for about 5 minutes while you assisted him and with no one behind the person in front me but ME.) To top it off, she gave the look of disgust and nodded to the other customer like she knew he was next while I stood there waiting and feeling like I am a LIAR and dishonest. I was brought up in a family that instilled in me honesty and integrity not the way around.

I own my own home and restaurant. I wonder how I got here. NOT from lying and cheating but hard work. I have spent thousands on home improvement from building a wooden fence in my 10,000 SQ FT yard to building a 30 ft deck to building my own 500 SQ FT shed to full renovation of my house. So to be PETTY and dishonest is not my forte.

To top it off, the cashier I ended up with which I waited in line stated to me " he DOES not touch insulation (which was part of the drop ceiling pieces I purchased for my restaurant) so I need to tell him how many. Instead of being DISHONEST since he refused to touch it- I could have very well LIED and saved myself some money and have Home Depot lose out on some profits! Because I am HONEST, I told him EXACTLY how many.

So Home Depot management, Thank you for reading. Have a...

This place is unbelievable! I will never shop here or advise people to shop here, again.

Today, I tried to rent a truck to bring a few heavy items home that I purchased from HD and the employee would not allow me to rent out a car... I had a valid driver's license, registration and credit card and the rude employee stated that I need more information regarding my insurance policy because he didn't believe I had insurance.

I was extremely offended, especially because he made this assumption and I am a minority Female.

I asked to speak to a manager/ supervisor and of course she was more rude than employee and she said they have to ask for my policy information because they dont have insurance for the Home Depot rentals... my response is, how is this my problem?... I have insurance, a valid credit card, and I do have a license, which I provided to them and as big as home depot is why offer rentals if we can't rent the cars/trucks to carry out home depot items without given us a hard time. This makes no sense.

I was so angry and had to return all my merchandise and the supervisor did not even care to help me out, but rather just walked away...

I wanted to double check if every home depot does the same thing and when I went to another location to do the same thing, the staff member pull up my records and treated me with so much respect and gave me a rental with no problems, so I knew that wasn't a policy, but rather someone give a minority female customer a hard time. Its not fair and very degrading...

I have never experienced so much discrimination and harrassment from a store that I have been apart of for several years... I will never purchase from these people again and I hope others shop elsewhere too... poor...
