I'm not sure that the staff has had training of any kind. Honestly it's as if they were dropped there, and told to work without ever having seen or been in a retail environment up to this point. If you have to go there for something bring more money than expected, and plan on finding what you need unassisted. Asking for help will likely keep you in the store longer than it would have, and your time would be paying for there education in retail along with the discovery of what they do/don't sell, and where it is located. I know it did for me, and this was after calling in advance to insure they had the item I needed. After being told twice they had it and driving up there. I had to stand there for quit sometime will 6 employees looked at me like they had no clue what a customer's was, and I was at the check out, mind you. After an inquiry with 3 different people I had to wait on one guy in the back that I assume is the reason for the employees being hypnotized, informs me as if I should know, they don't sell that. I tell you, some peoples kids. While leaving the other employees chime in as if they all knew this new found information like I didn't already ask them....
Read moreI was excited when Fix & Feed opened in Quinlan because it meant no more driving to Terrell for most hardware purchases, but I've become increasingly aggravated at the slow pace of the checkout lanes. It always seems like everyone in line ahead of me has a lumber purchase or some other kind of story to tell, the cashiers are slower than Christmas and seem to enjoy taking phone calls from people at home while actual customers stand waiting, and no matter how long you've been waiting, if another cashier decides to open a new lane, she winds up serving people from the back of the line instead of asking "who's next?" and taking people who have been waiting the longest. So, I'm about done with this store. It may take longer to drive to Home Depot but I know that when I get there, I can find what I'm after and check out in less than 2-3 minutes without raising my...
Read moreI called ahead and spoke with Aria (sorry if mispelled). I asked SPECIFICALLY for a 2-3" wood dowel rod for closets. I repeated my request. I repeated it must be this size and made of wood. The young lady put me on hold, came back and said "I didn't look but we had them". Went to Fix & Feed, asked 2 different employees and they said no, we don't carry that size.
The young lady did not REALLY listen to what I was asking for. She did NOT go check for the item. She probably misinterpreted my question when she asked for help while I was on hold.
Normally, I have had no problem and shopped there numerous times but this phone call and a previous one with another lady has been dissapointing. With COVID, I have taken to call certain stores to make sure a product is there. I regret the quality of customer service I...
