My name is Michael, I have 6 years of Sonic experience. 5 of those at the Wills Point store, the last year I had moved to Gilmer working at their store. I'm here now, working towards becoming Co-manger by August, the current Co Taylor will be leaving then to pursue a new path in life. From what I've come to understand is the times your experiences were positive she had something to do with that over the years. We are also without a GM right now. The last couple of GM's were lacking in few to many ways. The current employees staffed are all relatively new also. It's seems most of the employees in the past were capable for the most part just lacking solid leadership and proper procedure. The building it's self is old. We waiting for a remodel, which I don't have a date in that, but is a issue we are working towards making happen sooner than later. With that comes, new stalls, building, equipment etc. We are currently using a much older operating system than the majority of other sonics, which can make things difficult at times. So, I'm asking for you all to bear with us we're working towards making a complete overhaul of this store. I am a very concerned when it come to customer satisfaction, again my name is Michael. I've been working mostly mid-day shift 11am-8pm kinds of shifts, please ask for me if there are issues or would just like to share experiences with me. I want to get to know my customers and what you're truely thinking. I want to be more involved with you, and the community. Read moreI visited this Sonic today on my way home from the grocery store. I had a coupon that I just got out of my mail box on the way to the grocery store. It was 99 cent corn dogs limit 10. So I decided to stop by and get them for my kids on the way home. I tried to place my order at the box but they had me pull around to the window. I waited behind another customer. I get to the window and the order taker looks at the coupon and asks some one and I hear them say they will take it. So I again tell her like I did at the box that I wanted 10 corn dogs. I also ordered a number one with tots and a strawberry lime aide as well as a large order of cheddar peppers. I pay for my order (she swiped my card outside the window.) I realize the total was not correct so I ask her did she get 10 corn dogs on my order. She said no and then went to get some other lady after telling me she would have to swipe my card again. I agreed. This other lady told me that now (after already honoring the coupon) me she was now going to have to call someone to verify she can take the coupon??? I told her I was not waiting for a phone call to just give me what I already ordered and paid for so I could go. She wanted to tell me that all she was trying to do was help me??? I told her look it's a 6 dollar discount. I'll just pay full price or you can just give me what I've already ordered so I can go. I'm not pulling over for you to make a phone call so I have to wait even longer. You are not on the phone you are just standing here arguing with me about never seeing this coupon before. She finally agreed to just give me my order and commenced to tell me to have a better day and God blessed me. My day was going great until this occasion so there is that. Read moreI used to be a very regular customer, I would go there at least 15 times a month. Service has been steadily going down, but tonight was the last straw. I understand they were busy, but I pushed the button to place my order, the light lit up letting me know the button worked, after 10 minutes of waiting just to place my order, the lady who pulled in next to me and after me asked a carhop about her button since she had not been answered either, and they answered and took her order, leaving me still waiting. I had already tried calling them on the phone to place my order but they were apparently to busy to answer the phone. After they took the other ladies order I left angry.
