GOLD LOUNGE — Local services in Raleigh

First time visitor to this lounge, I was here for an event and when I arrived I have to say this wasn’t what I expected. The event alluded to a night club, and this was a Mexican restaurant during the day and “night club” at night type of place. Drinks were $12 for a shot of bottom shelf booze and mix. The bar staff stood there while you completed your receipt for each drink order (couldn’t have an open tab), they were all sharing from the same hookah (it’s 20 months into a pandemic - who does that?!) A waitress also had her 3yr old there running around while she was working.

I also paid $500 a head for the event, and the “club” was open to anyone and everyone and people kept coming and going during the even passing through the “stage” in the middle of the VIP section near the front door.

Cleanesttttttt freaking bathrooms I've ever seen for a restaurant/establishment/none home toilet. Seriously. No lie!! It doesn't smell, no pee on the rim, floors clean, plenty of tissue. As a woman, I have to say I HIGHLY, HIGHLY appreciate this!! Bartenders are niceeee and superr cute!!! :) Drinks are poured nicely, although I have to agree with the other reviews that my drink of preference wasn't available (malibu rum), so I was offered Ciroc. But still charged Ciroc prices lol. Oh well. Seems like a funn and lively environment for my first time here! It is only 8pm on a Sunday as I write my review, so please take that into consideration. But I definitely like this place! I enjoy the atmosphere! And I think I will return on a 'club' night to see what the Gold Lounge looks like...

My friend had recently went to the club and she got sexual assaulted. I’m not blaming the club for what happened but I am blaming them for not standing up for her or helping her with the situation. As she was dancing a man came behind her and forcefully inserted his fingers into her. He then proceeded to scratch her insides, leaving her hurt and traumatized. Not only did he do this to one girl, but two.. After the incident both girls had went up to a security guard who was drunk. Drunk on the job and didn’t do anything to help. He brushed it off his shoulders and let the man walk away. There was ample amount of time for the security guard to help, get the man or even call authorities.. neither of those thing took place.. All I’m saying ladies is be careful and have your head...
