1341 apt 202, run by a Chinese woman and her husband. Took 5 months to get a working washer. Stove burners do not work, ac filter has rusted out and doesn't filter the air, and the worst part, a 50+ year old sociopathic roommate she plays favorites with. Let's call this guy JR for short, he is on 3 different pharmaceurical medications for his head and heart problems, claims he is depressed, he's actually an autist and will never let you have a minute of peace. She keeps him there even though the roommate before me got so mad at him he put a knife to JR's throat... Neighbors all complained because he punches walls and slams doors all day and night. Main office never kicked him out either. If you meet with a 5 foot nothing Chinese with broken English wearing a floral blue or green dress and a face mask, do not rent from her. She changes her first name all the time but if you see Bai or Ni as the ast name, don't waste your time. Apartment will be dirty when you move in, she claims she has a handyman, he will never come, and you will hate life because of her commie excuses. Mold everywhere, always dusty, and in apt 202 at 1341, she locked the ac unit so her favorite autist can have control at all times....
Read moreLived here in two different apartments over the last 3 years. Personally I have not had a bad experience, mostly because I don not put myself into situations that allow the management to do anything to displease me however I have had roommates who have dealt with anything and everything under the sun. The office staff are useless and unwilling to do anything until literally backed into a corner. Anything else I've noticed is no fault of the property but an issue with the people who live here. For the most part, they are polite and private enough no one ever notices each other but there are several individuals who make life difficult for everyone else. Honestly the only reasonable way to live here is to have a good relationship with someone who owns one of the units. That will make everything easier. For the cost, it really can't be beat, which is really why I still live here. Close enough to everything, mostly quiet, etc. One constant complaint I have is the parking spaces are too small. There are more than enough for everyone in the complex. I've gotten dents in both my cars...
Read moreI lived on the first floor, the office hired someone to clean up the furniture on the 2nd floor. A dump truck pulled up all the way to our back door walkway and hit our balcony, the stuffs began to throw furniture from the second floor balcony to the dump truck, making huge noise and leaving all broken piece of glasses on the floor and on our walkway.
I realized my hookah base was fall and broken after they left. So I went to the office and asked for claimant, but the guy and the lady argued that my hookah was impossible to be fall and told me that if I am care about the hookah I would not put it outside the balcony. They told me that they have never had any problem to move furniture in this way before.
If you are throwing furniture from the balcony why don't you let me know before that so I would have brought all my stuff inside to my apartment. Also, instead of throwing furniture from the balcony. Why can't you move them from the stairs instead. Overall the office and management did not want to...
