i know its hard for newer employees to know what every menu items tastes like but the fact that neither of them had any answers to my questions about what is the sweetest type of drink is just agh frustrating. dirty milk tea is definitely not the sweetest, which is what was recommended. i got my wife a chocolate flavored tea and it was definitely sweeter, wish iād gotten the same for myself but i figured iād follow employee advice.
taiyaki was hot and delicious though, we tried the chocolate and the boston creme kind and shared both.
the look of the store was a little barren unfortunately⦠its not very cozy, kind of got an unfurnished look to it. chairs and tables were strewn about like they didnt have proper places to go. the vibe has POTENTIAL though i mean, yellow is such a happy color! and bumblebees are very nice! but speaking of the store design, the look of menu was also a bit jarring. i could have stared at it for hours decoding the text. theres just so much happening on one big blackboard and if youre new to boba tea its like solving riddles.
didnt stay for too long because the music was so loud and as a person who is sensitive to sounds i couldnt handle it. 3/5 stars would maybe consider coming back for another shot at the different drinks since theres so many different ones besides just chocolate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is AMAZING! We once went in at 10:50 pm at night wearing persona 5 cosplay(we live across the street) and they were so entertained! That alone could give them 5 stars, but oh goodness, there's more! 1st: Great Tea! I've had almost their entire menu at this point, every single one tasted great. 2nd: Amazing selection! The fact that I've almost tried their entire menu is a FEAT. No matter your mood, you will find something that'll make you smile. 3rd: Adorable Atmosphere. It's a cute place and just save the bees, man. 4th: Fast service! I have NEVER had to wait longer then 5 minutes. And that includes my tea runs where I was picking up 5 different teas on one tab. Like no joke, they get the job done. 5th: The nicest workers! They are just so nice! Like I love them. 6th: They have punch cards! Every tea can go towards a free one later. I've gone through about 6 cards so far.
Need help deciding? My drink of choice: Their Thai Bumble milk tea. It's orange, its good, and you CAN'T go wrong...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate 04/10/25: I stopped in to get a boba tea and taiyaki.. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since my last visit two years ago. The drink was okay but the food? The taiyaki was bitter. I took a bite, chewed a few times and had to spit it out. Hoping it was a fluke (because who likes wasting money in this economy?) I tried a second bite and same thing; chewed a few times and had to spit it out due to the bitter taste. If I ever come back, it'll be solely to get the tea.
Mu family is obsessed with bees so it seemed natural to come here. We have visited at least three times now and drive over an hour(one way) each visit. The macarons are okay, not really worth almost $3 for a tiny cookie, the taiyaki is AMAZING (red bean is the best!) and if you're unsure of a drink, taro milk is the way to go!! š¤ My only complaint is I wish the cashiers/baristas were more friendly.. quite a few of them act like it would...
