I have gone to this shop on a few occasions and it was my main shop when I got back into collecting last year. Since the Pokemon card boom this shop has had INSANE mark ups. One time I went in and found an First Partner pack (normally 10 bucks) priced at 40 bucks. I kinda shrugged it off but have noticed over time that more and more of their pokemon items have been disgustingly overpriced. Today was the final straw I went in to see if they happened to have any Celebrations items expecting it to be marked up but when I saw a $20 Celebrations box marked up to $100 dollars I looked at my son and said we had to leave. An employee came running out after me to let me know those items were mispriced. (I agreed with him on that) He let me know those boxes are actually $30 a piece someone just forgot to fix the stickers. Given everything I have seen I have ZERO faith that if I walked back in tomorrow the price tags would read anything other that $99.99. Just avoid this place its really sad they are resorting to scaler prices when they have a direct distribution relationship with pokemon. I will say this the people working in the shop are very nice and not mean about it in any way, its just a shame to see a place with great service held...

Exclusively only shopping here from now on, I've been a local MTG and Pokémon collector for years and have shopped on and off with the other local stores. This store may be small, but staff is excellent and the service/pricing is commendable. Will (store operator?) greeted me the moment I walked in and answered every single question I had regarding new pokemon sets, and helped me with my pre-order for the next mtg set. He then spent the next thirty minutes helping me construct a list for a pauper commander deck and then pulled the order and found replacement cards (bummed I didn't get what I wanted exactly but he did his best). Other staff is extremely kind, and actually impressed to see Anton still working at the shop even if he is in the other building. I cannot thank Will enough for taking the time to help me, and for the rest of staff for being so excellent. If only other stores could use this shop as an example for how to treat guests, they'd be bragging about how good that is instead of how big their storefront is, nobody cares how big your store is. It's actually more important how you use it and how to treat a guest. 10/10 only shopping here.

The worst insensitive human being I have EVER come across!!!! Blading guy in his 50s that wore glasses. Tore my son down for bringing in cards that didn't meet his standards. Made my son feel completely embarrassed and made him cry. 10 years old doesn't understand the value and conditions of cards. And we don't know either so we took him to a store to figure it out. You are truly a human being that should find compassion especially to children. I have never seen my son so upset. You could have simply gotten on his level and said "hey buddy we can't buy your cards but there are other places that might be able to take them" instead he said "you see this hole, why would you try and sell this? It's worth nothing." And "if you got these cards in the mail would you be happy with the condition?" Thank you for tearing my 10 year old into pieces!!! All he was trying to do was learn about cards and find ways on how to make money. I would give this place a zero. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! They don't know real customer service.
