Ghiotto Artisan Gelato — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

I have to say that this is the best-tasting gelato within 100 miles of Sacramento, period. While there might be some gelato that comes close in SoCal, this is the best scoop of ice cream you'll ever have in Sacramento without a doubt. Not only is this ice cream freshly-made, it tastes just like the flavor says it tastes like in the best possible way. The lady behind the counter is always nice and the selection of flavors they have does not disappoint. The texture, temperature, and taste are all tuned to perfection. It is odd that this place is never busy because this truly is a hidden gem. I have never been to Italy but I am certain that this is what gelato there...

Absolutely love everything about this place. Not only is it in a beautiful location, welcoming atmosphere, the most delicious gelato in all of Sacramento, but the staff are absolutely phenomenal!! The talented and kind owner, who I call, Mama Gelato, always takes such good care of my friends and I when we come in. Checks in on us, and goes out of her way to ensure we are well taken care of. Get yourself here to try some of the delectable gelato flavors. Each one we tried was delicious and we can't wait to get back to try more. They also offer banana splits, shakes, and affogatos. The coffee used for the affogato was not my favorite (but the gelato more than made up for it). Keeping the 5 stars since it was good, but I'm just kind of a coffee snob (went to coffee tasting classes and brew small batch, freshly ground beans in a French press daily). Overall, great service and ambience with good quality product....
