I went into Arezo boutique to get measured and do a custom order for a nikkah dress. I paid my deposit which was half of my dress as I live over 3 hours away and the manager told me I have a week Incase I want to change anything. After some communication back and forth, I decided I donât want to move forward with this boutique. Since they didnât start on the dress, I asked if I can pull out. She said itâs fine at first , then proceeds to tell me I canât do that and I wonât receive my deposit back because they bought fabric already which was a lie.
I knew I wasnât going to get any of my deposit back so I proceeded with them. They completely lagged on me. I had to message them multiple times to get an update. I only received about 3 photos of my dress that I had to keep asking for. My dress was delayed and she wanted me to do my first fitting a couple days before my wedding. I went in Feb 9 to get measured. My dress was supposed to be ready April 16. They didnât even start on it until April. She kept lying to me and saying she will even let me know if it gets here before the 16th when in reality it was late.
They also lied and told me they are making it in Netherlands, but I found out they have it made in a cheap factory in China. My dress came and the quality was horrible. I had to have them fix it. The sleeves were short, the collar was flopping down, and you could see the bra padding. I have attached photos.
WHEN THEY SENT IT BACK TO CHINA TO FIX IT, THEY GAVE IT BACK TO ME THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. They also didnât even fix everything I asked them to. She gave us the extra fabric and we had to fix it ourselves. The veil was horrible and I had to pay 500 for a new one at another boutique. She said the best she can do is discount the dress $200 and when we got defensive she cussed us out. I have NEVER received this treatment from a business. If you donât want to have SEVERE anxiety as a bride before your wedding, go to some place that will be dedicated to giving you a great experience and good customer service during a stressful time. Overall they are unethical, unprofessional, unorganized, and gave me my dress delayed. My wedding look was ruined.
UPDATE: They have responded and have said they do not get their dresses made in China. This is a lie. Your employee assured me it was made in the Netherlands at first, but when my dress did not come on time, she told me in store that it came from China so they had communication and shipping issues causing the delay. Please do not lie to your customers and scam them. You guys are making false claims that your dresses are made in Netherlands but they are also made in China to cut costs so you guys can make more profit. ALSO, the photo I posted was the dress your employee gave me to take home and wanted to rush me because her husband kept calling her to leave the store because it was passed her curfew. I was the one who refused and had her make changes so it could be wearable AND Yes my family member did leave a review because your employee upset them and they had a bad experience in your store. Just because you did not service them that does not mean your employees behavior did not affect their experience in your store. We were left to try on wedding dresses on a Sunday which most places are closed. Thankfully one of Arezo Boutique happened to be open on sunday. We felt so special kinda like VIP. Well she didn't even know if we were just window shopping or if we were going to waste her time. She literally was the sweetest person ever. She took her time and asked all the right questions and popped out 3 dresses and the first dress my daughter in law tried on She said yes to the dress. We were so overwhelmed that all the dresses she popped out we had overlooked when we had walked around ourselves. They are professional and very talented. I don't know how she did it but she knows her stuff and if you don't want to feel pressured or stressed please give this place a try.
