Called around after having my screen cracked and had 2 requirements: OEM replacement, and best price among those. Their prices were competitive with 3rd party replacement shops, but he assured me it was OEM equipment. Dropped my phone off, picked up the next day no problem. The problems started from when I picked up the phone. I noticed discoloration in the back panel (white normally) from what I think is the glue bleeding out from the seam, and significant lifting of both the front and back panels because the glue was not set. It had rubber bands around it and I kept them on for the rest of the day, but they were insufficient to fully seat the panels while the glue finished curing. I have a top end case so after 24hrs I put that on. I know this isn't OEM for 3 reasons: since the replacement I have had many more problems with the fingerprint scanner, the screen struggles to hit 120hz refresh rate (it rarely does anymore, before it used to be stable...even after the screen was damaged), and the 3rd is the worst. After 2 weeks the phone casually fell off the couch just 24 inches up (I measured) onto LVP...so cushioned hardwood flooring. Even with this case that saw my original screen through DOZENS of much worse drops, the screen developed 2 cracks in different places. Absolutely frustrated, and the warranty conveniently doesn't cover any kind of damage. Stick with batteries plus at least I know they use...
Read moreI had a frustrating experience with this store. First, they closed earlier than their posted hours on Google on Sunday, so I had to return on Tuesday. When I arrived, there was a "Back in 15 minutes" sign on the door—I waited an hour and called, but no one returned.
I dropped off my Galaxy S21 for a cracked screen repair, but due to water damage, they were unable to recover the phone's data. They sent it off for further data recovery, but I never received any updates. After six months, I called them, and they simply told me there was no luck with the recovery and that I could come pick up the phone. While I was properly refunded (I think), the lack of communication throughout the process was disappointing.
Additionally, I wish they offered more off-brand replacement options—screen repairs cost $100 to $150, which feels steep. It seems like they use market value to determine repair pricing because both times, they checked the phone’s value on Amazon before quoting me. The repair price was always just slightly less than a replacement, unless the phone was significantly damaged, in which case the price difference was more noticeable.
Overall, I’m giving 2 stars due to inconsistent operation hours, poor communication, and high prices. The service could be much better with clearer updates and more affordable...
Read moreThank you. Yes they fixed one part of my phone for $150 and then something totally unrelated broke and the phone kept switching on and off while using it. I took my phone back they said it keeps switching on and off because the screen was cracked and broken. Didn’t even sound right but I needed my phone so I paid an additional $200 to fix the screen and all of a sudden my screen was fixed and the phone magically stopped turning on and off. And then when I was leaving another customer was experiencing the exact same thing except they refused to fix the cracked screen and they left the store angry. I talked to them in the parking lot and they described the same exact problem I had. They fix one thing and then make your phone turn on and off and you have to go back. When you go back they tell you that you need to fix something on your phone that has nothing to do with why you first took it in. By then you are stuck because they know some type of way to make your phone malfunction to where you have to bring it back. They scammed me. This is not the first time they’ve done this I’m going to make a report to the better business bureau this is not how...
