Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

My young son and I intended to get something to eat but after an hour drive from work and picking him up I needed to use the bathroom. I walked up to the counter and after standing there for a moment I was acknowledged and asked to wait. I responded, “No problem, may we use the bathroom”. Since the woman who had asked me to wait had immediately went to the frier to prepare something it was clear she hadn’t heard me. I spoke up, “Can we have the bathroom key plz.” She looked at me and said it was for paying customers.... I looked at her and said, “Yes, my son and I plan to order but since we have to wait can we use the bathroom?” She gave me an obnoxious look and said ok fine. When she went to hand me the key “she said, but you shouldn’t be rude or I wont give it to you” while basically refusing to let go of the stick the key was on. Rather confused at first I had just pulled the key til she let go. As I walked off I registered what she said.....at no point was I rude! At this point I’m irritated. I took the key back and said, You know what, We will go somewhere else with staff that isnt rude.”

If we looked homeless I may have understood but I was well dressed after leaving work. We left and enjoyed our hotdogs, and the bathroom, at Jaspers.

I’ll be looking into who the owner is and how they may want to better train...

'24/9 1st review, but decades long customer: -- For a fast food chain they get the job done in a polite (though minimal staffed) manner with fresh cooked food (so NOT heat-lamp fast) that is consistent with their brand. -- Old school stablishment is conveniently located 2 blocks west of Sunrise Blvd. and easy to locate on corner afront a small, older, L-shaped strip mall with plenty of free parking (inc. handicapped) and easy in/out access. Long drive-thru lane. -- Safe feeling premises with 2 outside, round, cement, set tables/benches, and handful inside rectangular ones with set benches. Indoor bathrooms. -- That said, the obvious still stands true for fast food options, "Where else can one quickly procure chili cheese fries and a chili cheese dog?!" Also, fun soft-serve cone & shake options. End takeaway: highly recommend if hankering for fast food chili dog/fries and/or soft...

I took my great-granddaughters to wienerschnitzel after we were done. My great-granddaughter needed to use the bathroom. The store manager said once they clean out we have to wait a half hour before they can be used. So we waited about 10 minutes. I walked back there and looked at the floors. They're dry. Everything's dry and asked. Can we use it now? And they said no it hasn't been a half hour and I mentioned the floors were dry. They're very rude and being seem like they're just being spikeful so we got into a little argument in front of us.
