J.Hilburn Stylist Studio — Local services in Rancho Cordova

My wife and I are traveling to Toulouse, France, for my wife's cousin's wedding in a couple of weeks. The wedding theme is "Garden Chic" and I had started looking to add some nice options for my wedding attire. I usually shop at Nordstrom and Brooks Brothers but while walking through the Village in Fair Oaks I came across J. Hilburn, a very nice looking stylist studio near my favorite coffee shop. I called and made an appointment for a consult a few days later. When I arrived I was greeted by Johanna and we talked for quite a while about the event theme and location and then she explained the process. She was fantastic helping me find what I really liked among the incredible options for fabric, style, lining, and fit. She was extremely thorough, meticulously measuring every bit of me to ensure everything would fit me like a glove. I've only bought suits, sport coats, slacks, etc., off the rack at Nordstrom or Brooks Brothers but making sure the alterations made them fit as well as possible. This was my first time having everything custom made, and the cost was extremely competitive with my prior "off the rack" clothing. After this experience I'll never go back. Johanna is an experienced stylist, regularly styling for red carpet events. When the clothing was complete, I came in for a final fit check and everything was spot on. With my measurements on file, she also does casual clothing, again custom clothing with prices similar to the places I usually shopped. Johanna was extremely professional, very engaging, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have been telling my family and friends about the experience and I could not be more pleased. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Johanna, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience. My husband was very against coming in for an apt. After some convincing we met with Johanna to design a sports coat and a dress shirt. After a few weeks his jacket and shirt were ready and I can honestly say I have never seen my husband so happy. He is a tall guy with long arms and he has never had something fit so nicely.
