Tuesday, 10/22/2024 - We went to eat at Brahma Bar & Grill for the 1st time. Address is 10239 Fair Oaks Blvd, Ste D, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. They are right next door to Shangri-la restaurant in Fair Oaks. There is a small parking lot. Kind of hard to find parking with limited parking spaces. But once you find parking...

Conclusion We like this restaurant. The Brisket French Dip and sweet potatoes fries were made perfectly. It was so delicious! We plan to return. But it'd be nice if there were 2 servers vs one. Maybe there were two and the other one never came back out. Idk. But I only saw one and she was busy. So she couldn't check on the customers if they wanted to order anything else, needed liquid refills, or whatever. I still recommend this restaurant. Service may have not be so great, but...

A tad bit tough to find the 1st time (i.e. when ask 1st timer to meet up), as tucked at the back of the small center/parking lot. Free, small parking lot, but typically always full due to sharing with a handful of businesses--including another busy restaurant to the north...unless come on Tuesday, as Brahma is open, but the other large restaurant is closed. Free, limited street parking; but, again, this is typically full on this north side of Old Fair Oaks. A small, free lot also available squeezed between/behind a few shops south; though this is unweildly to direct a first timer to with any semblance of grace. Also a sign posted at parking lot exit says, "Free Overflow Parking After 5PM. Free parking in Water District lot just 100 yards straight ahead" (see posted pic). All that said, be prepared to park and walk a block or two. It's well worth is passing by the quaint park and old-time storefronts, not to mention the wild roaming chickens. -- Small, full bar area whips out delectable drinks. Great options including House Specials. -- Seat yourself sit-down restuarant with one or two fully capable, unpretentious, attentive, enjoyable wait-staff. -- Plenty of outdoor seating (kid/handicap friendly if one can take the weather) for couples and larger groups; the entire area has an air of seclusion being tucked in the back with waist-high wooden sides and shaded by mesh overhead plus full circuit misters. -- Indoor dining room is climate controlled, very small (not suitable to small children, mobility devices/impaired, or hearing impared) consisting of a few large-screen TVs, and a half dozen bar-top height tables (NO regular-height tables) fit tightly together. The waitstaff also passes through this area to serve the outside diners, so there's lots of activity coming/going constantly. -- Menu: rich in choices. -- Restrooms (2): Women's and Mens/Unisex. Both inside past the bar. Bottom Line: a great place to meet up, stay awhile, and unwind! Go for a birthday and be pleasantly surprised--they go the extra mile on this one, trust me. Always consistently good drinks, food,...
The perfect embodiment of Sacramento - casual apres-river outdoor dining & cozy bar, but with comfortable upscale detailing in the fresh ingredients, outdoor daytime misters or evening heat lamps, warm lighting and attentive professional staff. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. Comfort fare staples, but each was immaculate in details done right. We couldn't help making effusive noises & positive comments after each bite. I will suggest Brahma to all family & friends, regardless of their diverse personalities. Brahma has the perfect blend of quality & comfort. Outdoor area is distressed wood, for a relaxed masculine feel; it's tucked into the sweet yet lively destination spot of old town Fair Oaks (similar to old Folsom), complete with wandering roosters and towering old oak trees. I left wanting to return regularly, and definitely to try every delicious offering on the menu (which apparently gets changed up often, to entice return visits all the more). Brahma is a regular dining choice for any Sacramento lover and a sure winner for their visiting guests. It has the feel of good company, easy conversation, delicious fare, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. This restaurant launched during covid lockdowns, yet is going strong simply for providing the quality basics everyone is looking for. The manager walked the floor, providing excellent personalized service, and mentioned they were just getting started with the expansive quality upgrades that are in the queue (catering, events, music, etc.). Looking forward to seeing this local business bloom! Definitely embodied "the Best of Sac" - Ag & river roots, bringing grounded down to earth fellowship, mixed with a newly bustling food scene, and appreciation & showcase of warm...
