If I could give them negative stars I would. After spending almost $200,000 with this parent organization of indigo, you would think that they would treat their valued customers with dignity and respect. It was quite the opposite.
My 3-month-old Audi started giving me engine trouble under normal driving conditions. It was running when I got it towed to the service at Audi rancho mirage but a few days later and they told me the engine was seized. It was running when the tow truck driver dropped it off there. The service sent her. Took one look at my car and saw that I had done some modifications to it so they went out of their way to find anything they could to deny a warranty claim and give me a bill for a brand new engine that they will not cover.
This is a direct violation of the Magnuson Moss warranty act enacted by the Federal trade commission in 1975. This act states that an automotive manufacturer cannot deny a warranty simply based on the presence of aftermarket modifications and that they must prove beyond a doubt that aftermarket modifications caused the issue. Not only did they not diagnose or even try to look at the car, but they were so kind as to put an internal flag within Audi on the VIN number of my vehicle voiding the warranty on the powertrain forever so that even if I sold the car whoever ended up with it would not have a powertrain warranty.
From the word go they had no intention of taking care of the issue. It is an Audi issue. There are blown engines across the country and I've seen continual stories about the single turbo V6 engine of the B9 and b9.5 and the Audi sq5 failing.
Not only that, the shop Foreman here told me in person that they had to replace one of their V6 engines in an SUV two times during the span of 6 months. There's an engine problem within Audi and they're not owning up to it. And for people who do modifications to their cars, you're out of luck. And you have to buy a new engine with your own money while Audi sits back and does nothing about the catastrophic engine problem that they have.
Not only will I never buy another Audi, but I will never buy another vehicle...
Read moreAfter noticing a reply from Shad, the Sales Manager, from another poor review I decided to post my personal experience with this dealership. Even after a call to Audi, they still didn't have the decency to give me a call apologizing for what happened. About a month after trading in another lease from next door, another "Indigo Group experience", I received a call from Chase Bank informing me of a late payment due on said lease that was " signed off " on. While I believed it was just an error on Chase Banks' part, I went about my day. Two weeks later I received a" nasty" call from Chase Bank, again, informing me of an overdue payment. My next call is to the finance manager at Audi. He didn't know there was a problem with transfer and told me he would get back to me. The next day, being rather anxious, I had to call him. Seems Chase lost the check ( didn't see that coming), and to call back in a week to see if they get the "second" payoff. Really? You want ME to " keep in touch?" So my next call is to Chase Bank. The supervisor tells me the only way to protect my credit is to make a payment. They were going to charge ME a late charge. I made a rather urgent call to Shad, letting him know that I had excellent credit and was afraid that their lack of attention in this matter was making me nervous. Wouldn't one think that I might have received a call back reassuring me that they were ( finally) " on top of it? NOPE I will now wait two weeks for my car payment refund. I hope this doesn't get any worse. Still, not a call from Audi of Rancho Mirage, just to let me know that I might have been slightly inconvenienced due to their lack of due diligence. Too busy selling cars I guess . Never expect a car dealer to " have your back" after a sale. My mistake to think that buying a vehicle other than Ford or Chevy might increase your chances of experiencing...
Read moreI was in the market for an new custom S5 (before supply chain issues really hit) and got quotes from numerous dealerships within 2-3 hours of my home, and Audi Rancho Mirage gave the best discount off MSRP (this was back in late January, 2021). Paul was the sales associate and he did a really great job ensuring the order was accurate and answering questions about any potential hidden costs (side tip: avoid Audi North Atlanta if you're not into surprises finalizing paperwork). Delivery of the vehicle did take over 9 months, but Paul was really good with keeping in touch and letting me know about the build schedule. As time was passing and I was seeing vehicles being sold well above MSRP, I was concerned (re: Audi North Atlanta experience) that that Audi Rancho Mirage might somehow find a way to get out of the sales agreement and sell it at a much greater profit. That did not happen. Paul was great at managing the process and ensuring everything was in place for a smooth delivery (I had to drive out to Palm Desert to sell my old vehicle to CarMax and then be picked up to purchase my new vehicle in Rancho Mirage). The vehicle was all ready to go (Paul had pre-programmed pretty much every feature that was need to be set) and there were no issues with with paperwork: everything was as agreed in January. The whole experience was great, including Paul bringing me a cup of coffee while I was with the finance manager (thanks Paul!). Paul was also really good at going over a lot of the latest features the car had and answering all my questions. And the best part was that there was no badgering me for a good review (which is what I relentlessly experienced from the sales person from Hoehn Audi in Carlsbad, CA). This was my third Audi purchase, and by far the best car-buying experience I've had. Thank you to everyone at Audi...
