Rancho Mirage Amphitheater — Attraction in Rancho Mirage

Went to see the children's show, Willy Wonka at this amphitheater on a hot, sticky night. The show was very well done and between good direction and the way the seats are set up, I could see and hear everything very well from the back row. This outdoor theater is wheelchair accessible and easy for seniors to access, although it is a little walk from the parking lot to the actual entrance. Everything is flat surface up to the ampitheater. There are steps and ramps leading in. The parking lot could be larger. I parked at the end of the nearby tennis courts. Get to events early to find good parking. Look forward to seeing other events...

I went to the RMA on Mar. 31st 2019 to see the Tenors of Rock. Unfortunately the mics kept cutting out .There was also a humming coming from the speakers. So the show stunk because of technical issues. The venue is small and very nice. The vendors ran out of water half way through. I will definitely give it another shot. This was my first visit. We went to Fiddler on the Roof, which was fantastic...at least the little bits we could see of it. Terrible seating arrangement. Our view of the stage was blocked for most of the evening, by the tall people sitting in front of us. Many of those sitting near us, who also had limited views of the stage left at intermission.
