In winter they have a great variety of sleds. Price was better than walmarts. Summer annuals and perennials. They have tools to linens. That beautiful red radio flyer wagon for the kiddos sitting in the window is the usual reminder its Christmas. Decor for every holiday. Good spice rack with the best prices you will ever find. Huge selection of cards. Spring i usually swing in to melvins to pick up a gift for a friend or family member with a windchime or bird feeder. Melvins has moved from the location pictured, down to the south end of Randleman at the business 220 & 311 interchange. (Tge old go cart track). This has given them about 3X more space to showcase their splendid inventory. I frequent them about 3 to 4 times a week for various supplies to complete my numerous projects. Aaron, Butch & the other staff are always available for a friendly chat & I usually find what I want in the store. If it's not in inventory then they can order it. I ordered a 3 person wooden porch swing this summer & it arrived in 4 days. I much prefer shopping here than going to Wal-Mart or driving a half hour to Lowes Hardware...

Update: Still a great place. If you want something, they can probably order it. Wow! can't believe I'm first. This IS an ICON. Absolutely gentile, with helpful people; just ask. FUN to look around. Great place to take kids and older folks who enjoy nostalgia. However, they HAVE what you need to do what you are doing today. DO love this place and VERY reasonable prices.
