Appliance Parts Center — Local services in Raynham

I had a surprisingly positive experience at this place of business. Here's my story: I bought a used gas stove, only to discover that it had been modified for propane. Upon contacting the mfg (GE) to determine which parts were needed, to my dismay I learned that when converting TO propane, it's relatively easy- but when going back to natural gas (NG), things are much more complicated. I had to replace ALL of the gas piping for each of 5 burners, as GE only sells the (small, brass) gas orifices (which are easy to install)for propane.

The people at Appliance Parts Center were extremely helpful in negotiating the complex array of part numbers, in determining which I needed to order, which took them some time, as my model was a high end stove.

After the parts came in, I installed them, but discovered that the right front burner (amazingly) had 4 separate burner orifices, & the part assy I had obtained turned out to be not what I needed, as it had no gas orifices. (Propane operates under a much higher pressure than NG & thus requires smaller sized orifice holes. Incidentally, attempting to use the propane sized holes for NG results in a weak, sputtering flame that is inefficient, cooks poorly, & frankly quite noisy). So I contacted the Appliance Parts Center with the problem of having the incorrect part for one of the burners.

To my surprise, they quickly owned up to their mistake, & told me that they would order the correct (new & more expensive) part, at their expense. The part arrived in a few days & my stove is now fully operational!

I would give them 10 stars...

Update 7/18/2023: On Saturday I was tasked with looking at my MIL's dryer. Once I realized it was likely the heater element, i reached out for my phone/email and just started typing "Br" in the To field...sure enough Bradley's email address comes up. Explain the need and the Model number. In stock and open with enough time to get there. Pick up part after he validated everything else working on the heater part, divert to waterfront for seafood lunch(not relevant but needed a break), put together and MIL can dry clothes again. APC saves the day again!

Back in 2020: If I could give this company 6-10 stars i would. Bradley and his team always somehow have ability to get parts and either fast shipping or I can take a quick drive to pick the part up. I'm writing this review right after replacing a control board on an LG dryer that I didn't see if was available to buy anywhere else online but knew APC online would have it. Sure enough after an after-hours email, a quick call in the morning and Bradley already had the part ready to ship to me. Thanks again for saving me likely $700+ having to buy...

Great store, great service, great price! I've been coming here for quite a few years. There is no other store like 'em. They always have the part I need. First time, about 10 years ago, I needed a tiny part for a very old dryer. (I am a YouTube do it yourselfer). They had no problem. They had the part! No one else did. I have bought many refrigerator filters from them. Much better price than if I went anywhere else. In addition, the owner always offers discounts when I buy in bulk. When I call ahead, I give them the model number, they find the part, and save it aside. (Yeah... a real person who answers the phone!) When I come into the store and I forgot the model number, it's no problem.... Love it! I suggested to them that they would do great as a franchise... expand the business to other locations.
