Luxury Home Furniture — Local services in Redford Township

I waited over three weeks for a resolution, and all I got was a constant run-around from this store.

I purchased a modular sofa from Luxury Home Furniture in Redford, paying in full with my credit card, expecting a high-quality product. However, the sofa I received did not match what I ordered. I specifically chose a luxurious velvet finish, yet the sofa is made with a linen material that drastically changes its look and feel.

After assembly, I immediately noticed a strong, chemical odor—reminiscent of fresh paint mixed with formaldehyde—which raises serious concerns about the safety of the materials used. Furthermore, the cushion is a noticeably lighter color than the baseboard, which compromises the overall aesthetic. The most disappointing aspect, however, is the seating experience. Instead of providing the soft, comforting feel of quality cotton padding, the sofa produces a sound similar to stuffed plastic when used.

I have documented these issues with photos and videos, but despite my repeated attempts to resolve the matter, I have yet to receive any meaningful communication or a workable solution.

I would caution other buyers to thoroughly verify product specifications before purchasing from Luxury Home Furniture. My experience has been incredibly disappointing and far from the quality one...

I had an amazing experience furnishing my new home thanks to Izaiah, the salesperson, and Mike, the manager. I purchased two king beds, two mattresses, lamps, a coffee table, and a few other pieces, night stands and everything went super smooth from start to finish.

Izaiah was incredibly helpful and patient. He went out of his way to show me multiple websites and resources to help me find exactly what I was looking for, and really worked hard to get me the best price possible. You can tell he truly cares and wants the best for his customers. He also called other stores to check whats in stocks.

Mike was also great and professional when I needed help, but Izaiah really took the lead and made the whole process easy and enjoyable.

I’m extremely happy with my purchase, and I’ll definitely be back. I’m also recommending this place to friends and family. They’re not your usual salesperson using every sales tactic out there. As someone who worked previously in sales I really appreciate genuine people that want to help, and not just sell you whatever they got. 10 out of 10...

They do have some quality furniture pieces in there store. I purchased a living room sectional from their web site ad that I did not physically see before I purchased. The sectional has no foundation, it's lumber covered in plastic, and it is not even fully covered the lumber is exposed were the two pieces connect, the two pieces just push together because there are no latches to hook. The sectional look miniature compared to the ad, look like it's for a kid's room. I am very disappointed . Extremely cheap low grade quality. It worth about $249.00 at the most.
