On today 6/14/25 I went to this Aldi's to get some milk and cereal for my grandbabiesto have some breakfast along with a few other items. So I go over to the milk cooler where the 2% milk is and there is a milk crate sitting in the cooler on the floor once you open up the cooler door with only one 2% milk sitting on this crate but the milk jug is damaged; and the way the milk gallons are positioned in the cooler made it difficult for me to grab a gallon of 2% milk and so I saw an Aldis worker whom was pushing a pallet full of things. I asked the young man 3 times for help before he even acknowledged my presence, if he could get me a gallon of 2% milk the young man responded very non chalantly I will go and get you a gallon of 2% milk. I waited 5 minutes for this young man whom never reappeared; then I see another young man pushing a pallet full of items whom is also an Aldis worker I approached him and asked him if he could get me a gallon of milk, I proceeded to explain why I couldn't reach the milk, this young man stated the same thing to me that his coworker said.......that he will go get the milk for me and wouldn't you know that this young man never came back either. I finally said forget it after waiting 10 minutes for some milk I couldn't even get and get up to the register and who is the cashier......both of the young men that stated they would retrieve the 2% milk for me both claiming that they are the only 2 workers in the store and that they are working short staff and they can only do so much. Here is my point its not my fault that they are short staff seems like to me the store shouldn't be open if its only 2 staff working and while they are telling customers that because its very unprofessional I'm not asking for no excuses I only wanted them to get me a gallon of 2% milk because I couldn't reach it and then one of the Aldi workers stayed that I lied about asking for help ........what a poor excuse for so called TEAM WORK you guys are TERRIBLE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I WILL BE LETTING...
Read moreIve been going here off and on for years. And from my experience ive never had friction with the employees. ..they are actually delightful BUT I enjoy my produce and they truly lack in that area. Ive seen gnats flying around the veggies and fruits more than once. The strawberries are almost always rotting as well as the onions, green peppers, lettuce, and potatoes. I picked up a sack of potatoes and they seemed to be producing their own juices... yeesh. On the plus side almost everything is kosher here. The lay out is very odd for a grocery store....its set up more like a bargain shoe outlet store. It may come off depressing for a lot of people because of the lighting and the yellowish brown floors and "blah" orange signs banners and walls. They have a security guard in there as well....i dont know why! I go to meijers and krogers...hell even spartans for my produce and meats. Aldis is really good for stocking up on canned goods, $2.00 milk, yogurts, and FROZEN veggies along with cheap breads and rice. But i wouldnt over indulge. I personally have a child so saving as much money as possible is my life. Also i noticed their prices are rising....i can already see ppl going to meijers or krogers for the name brand stuff for .20 cents more. Personally i dont like aldis but its not bad when you need the essentials for cheap:milk, butter, eggs, condiments, and cases of water. Truly i wish i had a cosco card instead. But hey if u need to save a buck or have fixed income then the place is good. BUT NOT FOR MEATS AND PRODUCE. Thats my honest opinion. Stroll in on an average Tuesday to see...
Read moreALDI is a depressing place to shop in. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a government building, not somewhere you want to buy food.
NOT ONLY THAT, today, I had a horrible experience with the management there. The cashier rang up 9 cans of SARDINES (NO ONE IN MY HOUSE TOUCHES SARDINES) onto our bill and to our fault, we did not notice until we got home. I looked for a phone number for the store online and could not find one, so I drove to the store about an hour after the purchases were made. There, I found the manager, Ben, who DID NOT LOOK ME IN THE EYE during the time I was explaining to him the situation and then he went into a room, came back, and granted me a refund for the items that we didn't buy, but not without telling me that HE DOES NOT BELIEVE WHAT I SAID AND HAS NO WAY TO PROVE THAT I'M LYING SO HE WOULD DO THE REFUND JUST BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT THE TROUBLE.
I understand that people can try to come in and take advantage of a situation like this, but I believe that they should have the proper system in place so they are not ACCUSING law abiding grocery shoppers of FRAUD or THEFT. I should never have gone back there, and TRUST ME I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ALDI, NOR WILL MY FAMILY, NOR WILL ANY OF MY FRIENDS THAT I SPEAK TO ABOUT THIS.
Buy your food from a place where they are giving you horrible vibes with their horrible decor and horrible eyes of...
