Cottonwood RV Park — Local services in Redmond

Cottonwood Rv is great!!!! Not sure why there are a couple negative reviews... Maybe they were just having a bad day? Husband and I have used this Rv park 3 years in a row when we come down for the weekend for a tournament in Redmond....Its a smaller Rv park lot tucked off a main road by a farm field and water canal not too far from the freeway. There are quite a few longer term residents that stay there.... but their sites are super clean and neat (very nice trailers) and the people that we saw are nice, quiet and friendly. The staff that booked our spot over the phone even gave us a heads up prior to booking that there was some very limited construction finishing up across the street (which we never heard)- even though our rv was parked in spot right along the main road Thursday evening-Sunday. Bathroom code that came in the reservation email worked great! Very nice clean bathrooms and laundrymat... The park is in a very convenient location, we can easily go back and forth between Redmond and Bend for fun and food...And the price was great for full hook-ups. I would recommend...

I've only been here for a few weeks, so I will write another review at a later date, if needed. #1 Park is fairly clean, except in my slot, there was old dog poop and cigarette butt's from a prior renter. Not a bunch, though. #2 Manager is rarely in the office but ALWAYS quickly available if you phone instead of just showing up. Also, super nice and helpful. Quick to right any errors made. #3 Bathrooms, showers, laundry facility, alway clean and in good repair. #4 Ground maintenance is superior, though I do wish my slot was a bit more level (since I don't have levelers), but it's only slightly off. #5 As with all RV Parks, there seems to always be a slight aroma of sewer ( as expected since there are dozens of people using it), but it's not overwhelming at this park...just occasional burps. #6 have decided to "winter over" here. It suits my needs perfectly. I can overlook slight issues when the customer service and management is outstanding and helpful...as it is here!

update nearly a year here...

Their website is very deceitful which gives the impression it's an RV Resort when in fact every occupied space is clearly a long-term tenant. When I mentioned this to the staff at check-in they stated many are traveling nurses, etc. which maybe true but didn't look like it. We do not like staying in "residential" rv parks looking at everyone's storage in front of their RV and their homemade windskirts, which includes the managers space In addition, we were greeted by an obnoxious barking dog from the managers space.

These RV business owners need to determine whether they're going to service long-term RVers or traveling RVers then be explicitly clear about their preferences. This park clearly accommodates long-term. We will NEVER stay here ever again. We expected more and was very...
