When I first arrived to Brides N'Belles, I was a nervous wreck. I had never been wedding dress shopping and I've heard plenty of nightmare stories about never finding THE ONE. I was greeted with an encouraging smile by Lexi, who was very excited to work with me and the bridesmaids. She asked some questions about what I was specifically looking for and I gave her a list of things I liked and didn't like as well as a budget. She had the bridesmaids and I look through some bridesmaid dresses while she went upstairs to pick out a few dresses for me. Once she had a selection picked out she took me to a room and had my bridesmaids take a seat outside the room. I was VERY self conscious about changing into a dress with her in the room, but she made me feel so comfortable it was like trying on clothes with a good freind! We tried a few dresses that were beautiful, but not QUITE what I was looking for. After about 5 dresses or so I was starting to get discouraged because noone has cried yet, this must not be THE ONE. She told me not to worry, we would find it. FINALLY we found a dress that was 4 sizes too big and I was skeptical. She applied clips to it to mimic a fitted look and we walked out to the bridesmaids and I stood in front of the mirror. It all happened so fast and was kind of a blur, but next thing you know we were all a crying mess. Then she applied the perfect veil and WE JUST KNEW. This dress was the ONE! My stomach wrenched when I asked softly, "But how much is the dress?" To my suprise my PERFECT dress was UNDER BUDGET!! Although I was dead set on purchasing the dress, my bridesmaids said I should take a night to reflect and MAKE SURE. Today I came in to SAY YES! Lexi had come in on her day off so she could finish the experience with me. We tried the dress on one more time but there was no doubt in my mind. We took measurements and of course my "I said yes to the dress" picture, and she even gave me advice on jewelry, accessories, and hair styles to pair with my perfect look. We put in an order for the dress and will be picking out accessories and shoes when the dress comes in! They even have their own seamstress that they work with that does fantastic alterations! It doesnt stop there, my bridesmaids ALSO found their dresses AND will be receiving 10% off due to my purchase! AND my fiance will get a free suit rental with my purchase as well! I had no idea that I was going to find EVERYTHING I needed at Brides N'Belles! This is the ONLY bridal boutique ANYONE should go to!! Thank you sooo much for an absolutely...

Very poor customer service. I originally made a appointment as I was looking for a mother of the groom dress. I felt my 2 friends were more helpful than the person assigned to me. She kept popping in and out without giving any real attention. She was also very irritated that I wasn’t wearing the correct undergarments for trying on dresses and because I’m a larger person she didn’t have anything that would fit me properly. She appeared very annoyed. Ultimately, I decided on a dress but it would need to be order in a different color which I chose off a sample swatch. Fast forward to my dress arriving. I received a text saying that my dress was ready to be picked up. I was pleasantly surprised as I told it wouldn’t be in until July, therefore, I called just to verify. Neither the text nor the person I talked to indicated that it was recommended to make an appointment. When I arrived and they brought out my dress I commented that it wasn’t exactly the color I thought it was going to be. Didn’t say I didn’t like it, didn’t say I wasn’t going home with it. But as soon as I said that the attitudes of the associates changed. Not once did someone come in to help adjust the dress to see how it fit or spend time with me reassuring me that the dress was beautiful, or it looks great on me. Someone did check to see if the dress could be re-ordered, but it wouldn’t be in on time. (I didn’t even ask if it could be re-ordered, but I guess it was nice they checked) The original person who helped me on that first day tried to tell me what we talked about that day I was in. (How could she possibly remember, she was hardly there to help me) When checking out with yet another person, not once did she say thank you or I hope you’ll be happy or anything positive like have a nice day. I did call later that day to talk to the owner or manager. I was told the owner had left for the day, but the person on the phone was super nice, listened to what I had to say and was very apologetic. Unfortunately, it came too late. It’s really too bad the customer service was so poor. When someone comes in to spend this kind of money, a little kindness, compassion and understanding...

My fiancee and I live in Madison- however the drive was worth it. There is no other store with the level of care, compassion, attention to detail, and just overall wonderfulness that compares to Brides and Belles. I had tried on a dress that I loved at a well known long term boutique in Madison, the dresses were beautiful and the staff was wonderful until it came to money and buying- they were incredibly pushy and it was the worst experience I’ve had. Instead of feeling special and heard and supported I felt like a paycheck to the staff. It was incredibly disappointing to say the least, I left there feeling devastated. Although my dream dress wasn’t at Brides and Belles- amazingly, because they ROCK- the staff was able to order in my dream dress to their store for me. They also have a person that works in house that does alterations there, which is another huge point for me. The moms (my mom and mother in law) also loved shopping for dresses, and my fiancee ended up getting tuxedo rentals from there as well. Being able to share the wedding experience together picking out our big day attire together was also really important to us in retrospect, but not something I initially thought we would care about. I’m so thankful to have taken the time to make a trip out there because I know without a doubt if we hadn’t, I would have never had the amazing bridal experience and happy memories surrounding our big day. Kathy in particular has been the most amazing person to work with, she made me feel comfortable, and beautiful while trying on dresses despite being quite heavier than my “normal” weight. She picked out beautiful dresses and accessories for me that went absolutely perfect for my dress and vision. I cannot recommend this bridal location enough, nor truly say thank you for making my initial bad experience elsewhere better than I ever imagined it could be at Brides and Belles! I’m so grateful for everything everyone...
