ive been going here since i was 16 in 2016 and always regret going anywhere else. disclaimer though, i dont do my nails often in general but i do enjoy having them when i do!! i personally consider going to the nail salon a treat so i go like once or twice a year, otherwise id do em myself at home to save $. im not very high maintenance but i am a perfectionist (who is also a people pleaser).
i came back here for my birthday nails in august and they never disappoint! i got a gel acrylic french tip set with gems and a plain white pedi + my little sister got her first mani at a salon! unfortunately there was a rush right when we came in but they finished us up like pros. the price can be up there if u get extra designs n stuff but overall i think their attention to detail and customer service is worth the price as someone who goes to the nail salon every so often.
the thing that makes me return here every time (even after yearrrssss) is that they pay attention to the nail on my writing finger (right ring finger) to ensure that it aint crooked at the end. when i go to other shops they always make that specific finger crooked!! im shy so i hate speaking up if something doesnt look right so the fact that they can instantly adapt to each individuals nail shape shows how well they are at their jobs and eliminates my need to correct anything + makes my experience more enjoyable :) not to mention its just down my street like such a slay 💅🏻 also my cuticles are so bad...
Read moreThis is my second time going here and I am not happy with how it went. Took them 1.5 hours to remove my shellac nails and add on regular (not gel) clear polish. I've never had this procedure take more than an hour. On top of that, the result is not what I had hoped for. They cut my cuticles so much that my finger bled and now I have an swollen infection around one of my nail beds. Instead of stopping when the woman noticed I was bleeding, she just shoved her finger into the wound to get the blood to stop running and continued to cut the skin around my nails. The shape of the nails is messy and uneven - somehow it looks rushed even though they spent twice as long as they needed to. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I will not...
Read moreI would go back in a pinch. I got a gel pedicure and dip powder nails done here and the staff was friendly. I'm pretty sure they talked about me in their language but it is what it is. As far as sanitary conditions go, they didn't make me wash my hands before starting my nails and used a communal dipping pot. You get what you pay for though ($85 w/o tip). This is only my second time getting dip nails done so I don't know best practices by any means but I got two layers of dip (vs 4 at my last place) which I now prefer. However, instead of a a dip top coat I got a gel (uv cured) top coat that we didn't check before I left and has...
