Our family ordered our entire Thanksgiving dinner (their "holiday deluxe" for 12-15 guests), and it was excellent! It exceeded our expectations - southern style, down-home, flavorful and absolutely delicious. With southern family roots, my husband and I grew up with home-made soul food and were so pleased with the bountiful spread (smoked & fried turkey, glazed ham, greens, yams, mac-n-cheese, dirty rice, mash potatoes, dressing, and corn bread - wow!). The food was definitely made with care, quality ingredients, and remarkable culinary skill. From the very first phone call to place the order (just a few days before the holiday) the service was professional, prompt, polite and courteous. The owner, her husband, and team are gems! Food is probably a close 4. Just because it was hot and fresh. I had catfish which was fried nice and crispy and shrimp. Just wished it was seasoned some flavor. But I added hot sauce and yum. Greens were good and tender and tasty. Rice and gravy had a weird flavor so not my fav. Sweet potatoes good and sweet. Didn’t try the bbq chicken because of the reviews but I may try next time. Best part was the service Freddy was super nice and excited to make sure I knew food was coming fresh. So may take a min. I appreciate when I ask hey what taste good and people give their opinions. Not a lame response. I genuinely want to know that’s why I ask. He did great.
