Hunters Woods Village Center — Local services in Reston

I like the Safeway for the most part (a few hard working employees are amazing). I don't know if it's because of the high crime rate, but there are always police there sitting all day? One of the few places my car (knock on wood) has never been hit or dinged by someones door...even though parking can be a nightmare and there is no shade in the entire main parking lot. The people at the cleaners (see my review) are dishonest. The Jersey Mikes puts less meat in their sandwiches than Subway (see review). I don't care for most of the overpriced stores in the center. High turnover for businesses. The Reston community center is okay, but bums frequent the area...don't know when a planned community turned into the slums of CA...

This is a nice shopping center with a pizza place and other shops. It also includes Reston Community Center that offers a variety of activities for Reston and Herndon residents. It has an indoor swimming pool also. There is a “Center Stage” that offers various programs.

The pizza place is called Ledo’s Pizza. They offer delicious pizza, calzones, buffalo wings, etc. The prices are very reasonable with a lunch menu. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekend days during tax season, AARP offers free tax services using a volunteer staff. It is a group of friendly professionals who prepare tax returns for people who make less than a certain...

This plaza has a couple of promising attractions, Ledo Pizza offers a tasty and unique square pizza option (their sauce is delicious and the crust is kind of flakey), Blaze Cut does a great job on my sons hair and Priya does the most amazing eyebrow threading. The Safeway is dreadful and the Rite Aid pharmacy isn't much better, but overall, I do see lots of future potential for the plaza.
