Been a fan of Ledo's for decades beginning in the 90's when I lived in MD. This location in Reston has been going down hill for a couple years now and its due to both the service (upfront) and the ones preparing the meals in the kitchen.
Two weeks ago we ordered takeout that included 2 pizzas. They were going to send us on our way when we were missing the second half of our order. We had to literally remind them that there's supposed to be two pizzas, not that hard. They played it off and made an excuse; we had to wait for them to prepare the second.
Tonight, I walk in to pickup my order. I'm told they are just waiting on the pizza (other stuff was ready). The kitchen places the finished pizza in a box but the workers don't see it. I do, but after 1 minute, the kitchen staff grabs it back, opens the box and realizes they didint have all the ingredients (they forgot to add green peppers so instead of cooking it, they just dump a whole bunch on it, was raw). When it comes back out the cashier opens the box and asks me to confirm my order. It didint look right as I always order the Deluxe; it looked incomplete. We come to the realization that there was no bacon and no hamburger meat, just an ABUNDANCE of uncooked green peppers. They take it back and maybe out of spite, bring it back with a whole bunch of precooked bacon.
I get home and realize that they covered it all up so I couldn't even tell that they missed the other missing item (hamburger meat) and after eating, I realize that they skimped out on the pepperoni for every other "square."
What the heck? If the kitchen screws up, that's one thing, but if the front staff are so sterile to the point they don't even know or care that they're screwing up, that's a problem and my two recent examples are indicative of how terrible this...
Read moreI ordered a medium pizza last night with 1/2 banana peppers and half jalapenos and crispy bacon on the whole thing. When I got it home it had banana peppers on the whole thing, jalapenos on half and absolutely no bacon! When I called to complain about there being no bacon, the person's response was "Oh I know there wasn't any bacon. If you want to come back I'll give you a side of it you can put on it." No I'm not going back! I asked if they would give me credit towards the next order,and he said we can discuss that when I come back. This isn't the only time I've gotten bad ustomer service here. This location has horrible customer service especially for the prices being charged! I will not be back! There's a better Ledos on Westfield's Drive in Centerville. They know how to treat customers! I would highly recommend giving them your business! That's where I'll be taking mine from now on. It's worth the extra 30 minutes drive...
Read moreUsually this store is good, but tonight beyond terrible! I ordered a steak and cheese deleting mayo, tomato, lettuce etc. Reciept reflected what I want. What I got was a fully loaded sandwich. I called and asked for the manager and a person got on the phone nit stating a name. I explained the problem and told her the customer before told her his pizza wad nit right but it was ok and left. Her response was huh! Well we are extremely busy so some orders where probably messed up. When did managers justify poor service?
I than asked what her name was "Alyssa," I saw 2 tables that where occupied. And one of the ladies at the register was more concerned with showing her friends what table was hers than helping the 3 of us that were waiting for our orders.
Will probably be my last visit and considering my company is right down the street I will make sure they know how terrible the customer...
